I saw this this morning and it's so true! I have to think really hard about what day it is :giggle. There's something about those in-between days that gets me every year.

Anyone else strangely confused? :giggle

LOL I've been that way since the pandemic started with DH and the kids home all of the time. The only thing that is keeping me somewhat on track right now is that we are having new flooring installed in one area on Monday (tomorrow!)! But today still feels more like Saturday than Sunday to me. :crazy:giggle

This is my favorite week of the year! Well, one of them. I clean up Christmas, and then there's nothing to worry about for a week. No school, no meetings, none of that stuff.
I like to use it to plan things out. Reflect on how the year went, and get prepared for the next one. Clean out some clutter, get some meal planning done, evaluate my goals for the next year and how the last went.
It's like a week vacation from regular life!

I never know what day it is, especially now that our lives are upended. I used to bookend my week by going to church. We're going about once a month now, but it still messes up my system! Watching online doesn't help.

This week between holidays is a bit eventful for us because our anniversary is tomorrow, the 28th - 24 years. Since most things are shut down and we can't go out to eat, DH is going to attempt to cook the Feast of the Seven Fishes since the only meat I can eat is fish. We'll see how it goes!

Story of my life! Ever since I stopped working, 7 years ago, I have to think about what day or season it is (ok, I don't confuse winter with summer -yet- but I'm not sure if it's a mild winter or a cold autumn; and the same thing happens with spring and summer.

Yep, it really doesn't help me that DH is here all day every day. And YAY for new flooring! Hope it all goes well!!

I do like this week as well. I do lots of clean up and backing up on my computer and start to lay out some kind of schedule for the new year. Great way to look at it - a week vacation from regular life! I like that!

Happy Anniversary!! Good luck to DH!!

I totally get that! I will probably be a total lost cause when I stop working lol

The only way I knew what day it was yesterday was based on if my mum went to work and what time she left but honestly if my cellphone didn’t tell me I’d be lost.

Being retired every day is pretty much the same. I usually don't have a problem figuring out what day it is but if for some reason I am confused, I just check the TV schedule to see what is on that day.

Me too, Courtney @bestcee ! I have always looked at this as a week of reprieve and reorganization!
