What are you up to this weekend?

Unfortunately, this weekend I'm being sick. Darn germs. Fortunately, it's just a mild cold. But it was enough to make me not feel up to my usual morning walk/hike each day. I am still managing to get my weekly food prep done, but I didn't have a lot of it planned, thanks to having leftovers from last week. I'm spending a lot of time sitting, reading and watching stuff, resting.

Until now, I've made lanterns on a hexagonal base from a file I bought, and I'd like to adapt it to a square base.

I agree that it is hard to figure those things out. I'm always hunting around for free svgs online and then trying to adapt them.

We had our last softball tournament for my oldest yesterday. The early games were a bit too cold but the afternoon warmed up so it was nice to sit outside as a family.

Today I’ve got church at noon and another church meeting at four. I’ve been forcing family time on Sundays so we’ll probably play a game or watch a movie together since it’s too cold to go outside.

I guess it's that time of year when colds become more prevalent, unfortunately. I hope you feel better soon!
