I wanted to see what different kind of pumpkins everyone is doing for Halloween.

My mom and I are doing these.
We are making them tomorrow. I’m so excited!

You will have a blast! I totally want to see what you create. :) I really like the crayon one! I'd like to try the shaving kind that you see nowadays.
 
Those are so awesome!! I love the Harry Potter one! My son would love that!
I don't think we are doing any pumpkins this year. He wasn't much interested, but if I show him that one, he might change his mind haha.
 
I want to do the melted crayon pumpkin. It seems like a great way to use the broken crayons that my kids find "useless" as actual crayons. Plus they look cool. :)

I hadn't seen a Harry Potter pumpkin, so now I want to do that, too! My 10yo loves HP!
 
I hadn't decided yet. We bought them, and will carve them up sunday.

My daughter Sarita (she is 21) and her friends celebrated last night as they will be working in the week and can't. They went to a club, but before, Friday night they decorated our living room and bought snacks and drinks, all the girls (4 of them) came to get ready here, and they had a pre-outing little party here. I am waiting for them to wake up so I can get the photos of them!!!!
We used to carve the pumpkin together with Sarita until she was 16, then my arthritis became a bit of a problem so we painted them a few times, but now I see the melted crayon one... I HAVE to do that one!!!!!!
We bought some sweets and non eating treats (some kids have allergies so we like to give stuff that will be good for them, we lived here for almost 18 years and know most of the families around) and will be dressing up again on the 31st, so I ; try making it tonight or tomorrow, I am sure we have crayons, will send for the pumpkin later on!!!!!

those are fun ... never saw anything like the crayon wax pumpkin! and love the cute unicorn ones. we will need pictures ladies!
 
I was thinking about this yesterday while we were at the pumpkin patch...how cool would a unicorn pumpkin be if you combined the melted crayon method with your favorite techniques from the other unicorn pumpkins?!!? Could let the wax drip all the way down for a long main, or cover up the rest of the pumpkin that you didn't want the wax to hit.
 
Mine are styrofoam and so they are just sitting there waiting to go back into the plastic bin until next year. Boring, huh?
