Well that was shortlived

Bummer. Sorry to hear this, but I hope it means that something better is in store for you.

aww, stink - so sorry to hear that - hope you are able to find something you like - job or study - and have some good weeks in the coming future!

Oh My. Sorry it didn't work out, but I never did really like room-mates myself. Hugs. Stay positive.

oh Jennifer...so so sorry to hear.... but maybe down the road in time you will see why this happened.... some times things work out better , hope they do for you.
Huge huge huggzz

thanks everyone, feeling a bit lost at the moment but im sure being in familiar territory will help me in the long run.

Sorry things didn't work out, Jennifer. Home is a good place to be while you regroup and decide what you will do next. Hugs.

This is so true!
My college roommate turned out to be a pathological liar. Diagnosed and everything.
My after college, before marriage roommate thought she would continue to live with me after I got married. Somehow living with newlyweds seemed fun to her? She got really mad when she left, and left a huge mess. Ugh.

So sorry to hear your plans didn't work out...yet. Sometimes, home is the place to be it seems!

OMG, this happened to you, too?!?!!? My roommate knew I was getting married. Her lease expired a month before I got married, yet she didn't move out for another month after we did- it was so freaking weird! And then her parents came to help move her out and acted like I was this horrible person who was throwing their daughter out on the street. I *really* wanted to shove the signed lease agreement under their noses (I owned the house, she was renting a room), but I just helped carry boxes instead.

Yes!! @scrappyjedi Similar situation. The apartment was mine, she was renting from me. And it was clearly stated, in writing when her lease ended which was 4 weeks before the wedding. Luckily, she did move out while we were on our honeymoon. We came home to a mess, but at least no extra people!

oh no! it's so frustrating and disappointing when things don't work out as you plan for them to. hopefully a new and better option will present itself in due time. hang in there!!
