Yikes! It sounds like she was a bit too...involved...as a landlord. Hopefully moving in with a friend you already know will be much better!

She was way too involved and not what I expected her to be like thats for sure

I would say the downhill slide started on July 11th so I think it was more when not if.

Well my move went well yesterday though my room currently looks like a bomb site. Got to head out and buy a few things today that I'll need - bedding, an extension cord, heater

so far so good! I've been away for the last 6 days so still early days yet but I'm much happier here apart from the fact there is no dryer which I had at the old place (bit of a pain in winter)

That's great. Hope it works out - sounds positive. (PS we have no dryer either and I do get sick of clothes racks around the house, looking forward to being able to use the line again especially as it is the 14 year old's job to get it in off the line now she is taller than me!)
