Any fun or exciting plans this weekend or just routine stuff?

Let's share what our plans are

Any fun or exciting plans this weekend or just routine stuff?
Mostly routine I'd say

Let's share what our plans are
Well as it's 9pm Saturday here, half my weekend is already gone. I spent it catching up on sleep and doing some house organizing. Tomorrow's plans are more organizing, some job interview prep (I'm being optimistic and I'm a bit rusty) and two hours possibly four hours of following basketball teams online - one is a grand final of the Australian National Basketball League and the other is a semipro local basketball league

No big plans this weekend. Just the norm.

This week I will be getting ready for my brother and sister in law to visit. They have a wedding to go to on Saturday (29th) and then hopefully will come here on Sunday as they will be only 2 hours away. [Normally they are at least 5 on the entire opposite side of the state from us.] So if all plans stay on course, they will come on Sunday and leave on Monday so we will have time together for a day. We will take them to my brother's favorite seafood restaurant while here and just hang out :) I hope there will be no change in plans as I haven't seen them in person for 2 years now.

My son heads back to college for his last 2 months before graduation in May. We will all be very glad for him to be done! So, we're helping him pack up this morning and then the rest of the weekend is pretty routine. I've got to work out, run to the hardware store, do taxes. Bleh. Tonight, DH and I are going to dinner and a movie which is pretty normal for us on a Saturday but we always enjoy it.

No big plans, husband is working this weekend! So Nolan and I will just take it easy! I am going to try to scrap!!! I'm working on May 2025 photos...bit by bit catching up!

I've just been cleaning house and doing laundry today. Tomorrow is my daughter's baby shower, so that will take most of the day. I need to pack up a few things. We are leaving Monday to go out of town for a couple of days because my youngest was chosen to present his college research paper at the state capitol for Undergrad Reasearch Day.

Nothing exciting around here. I don't watch college basketball during the regular season but I do enjoy watching the first weekend of March Madness because there is always madness! So I've had the TV on that since Thursday (although not all day long).

I've also been cross-stitching quite a bit. I'm 45 days into my 100 day project. And, even with an unexpected power outage the evening of the 15h, I have been able to stitch every day. I was in the middle of backstitching when the power went out. When I figured out it was not only me but most of the town, I got out the lantern and finished stitching the area I was working on before it got too dark. Then I pulled out the Kindle and read. Thankfully the power was only out less than 3 hours.

I had a pretty calm and uneventful weekend. My hubby was gone fishing most of the weekend, so I had lots of free time to play in my craft room. I created my first ever altered art journal and it turned out so fun, so that was pretty excited. Other than church on Sunday morning, I didn't leave the house which was great. Lol.

I can’t remember Friday or Saturday already lol oh wait! We went to see Snow White! I loved it but the rest of the fam thought it was meh. I also went to an amateur rock band concert with my daughter and her boyfriend Saturday night. Yesterday we went to church and went on a family walk near the lake. Yay for warmer weather!
