I'm seriously running behind in all ways today, but it's been a super busy weekend. We cleaned and opened windows and mowed and basically worked outside all weekend. The weather was amazing and every time I came in to sit down, I just wanted to go back out again lol. We have a really busy week coming up, so it was kind of good to just do a bunch of stuff I really enjoy!

I'd love to hear about your weekend! What did you have going on?

Friday I went to Hobby Lobby to get a 12x12 frame for a layout I want to give to my cousin. Then since it was so nice I took Peyton for a walk. Stopped at my cousin's house and talked with her while she baked cookies. Then yesterday it was really nice so I took another walk. My cousin was sitting outside so I stopped again and we chatted for a lot longer than I planned! Then after dinner I took Peyton out to do her business (that was not happening) and my neighbors were on their patio and yelled hi. So I popped over and ended up chatting with them and their friends that were visiting for a couple of hours. Today the temps were about 20 degrees colder as well as windy and rainy so I've been scrapping all day. Also attended an online church service and online Q&A for Paint Shop Pro. Now I'm thinking about bed...

Saturday was all day in the truck driving home from our vacation. Did I say ALL day? It was an over 12 hour drive on the map but you know how that goes.... road construction and pit stops.... more like 14 hours. Today was unpacking and going to church. A few minutes stolen on the computer and soon to bed :) I love vacations but don't love the commute part.

My daughter had her senior prom... another milestone passed. It's a little bittersweet.

We had dinner at Nobu on Friday night to meet my daughter's boyfriend for the first time. Afterward, I went on a photo stroll around Old Town Scottsdale to take some photos for my photo workshop this week. Saturday was mostly laundry and puttering around the house although we did have dinner at a lovely French restaurant on Saturday evening followed by ice cream at a local place on our way home. It was such a beautiful weekend to eat outside so we really enjoyed patio dining at both dinners. Today, my daughter and I went to an outdoor shopping mall -- I dropped my Apple watch off at the Apple Store for repair, we hit Sephora and some other shops and had (another outdoor) lunch at a sushi place. This afternoon, I worked on some product photography for a client who has a jewelry biz. So, lots of good food and lovely weather here this weekend :)

I should’ve been more productive like you Jan!

Friday and Saturday were spent driving my girls to various activities. We watched my daughter play very well during her soccer game Saturday night which was very exciting. This morning I took the kids to church and spent the rest of the day reading. I hope for less driving next weekend.

My hubby was out of town fishing all weekend, so it was just me and my youngest at home. Friday night we did his taxes (blah) and then celebrated having that done by going out for tacos for dinner. Saturday I took a super fun art class on how to make Ukrainian eggs. In the afternoon I took my son to collect a few job applications and then strong armed him into actually filling those out too. Ugh. The procrastination is strong with this one. :giggle

Then I spend some time carving some linoleum blocks for mono-printing... which is my latest hobby that I'm dabbling in. The yard should have gotten some attention... but I didn't wanna. Lol.

I need a vacation! LOL! My parents went to New Orleans, so I took over the shore house. So....

on Thursday, a friend and I went to Karaoke. She lives across the street from my parents, so we stayed local. We had planned our low key night out. She took off the next day, and we didn't have to be home early! We just like to watch, we don't sing. :)

on Friday, a few of my friends came to the beach, and we went out for happy hour, dinner and then to the local watering hole. It was easy and nice to catch up.

on Saturday, my parents came home, and we all hung out together, got Chinese. Then Peter and I went out with friends. Shayne brought a couple friends to the beach and they played cards.

on Sunday, we power washed the outside furniture, and porch area, windows on the front of the house. Then home to chill. I took a little nap.

It's been massive snowing here expecting up to 15 inches of eww so we been staying inside where it's warm and away from nasty white shit.

Today we are puppy sitting for Biancas new lab puppy Gat. Eric and I are in puppy heaven playing with him..and Neelix is having the time of his life chasing puppy around apartment

We got the cooler days today, but it sure was nice to have a couple of days outdoors. Your walks sound lovely!!

The driving is the worst part about a vacation! That's a long trip! Hope you had a great time away!!

That really sounds like a wonderful weekend!!

I hope you get a weekend with less driving! Spending part of the day reading sounds lovely, though :)

That art class sounds so fun!!
I feel you on the procrastination! I strong armed mine into filling out a bunch of scholarship applications that are due in two days! :hairpol

Laundry and mowed the lawn. I'm also dog-sitting, so dog-walking happened.
Same here... laundry, mowing, and dog-sitting. My daughter and family were out of town, so their little dog was here.

Sounds like you needed that little nap, and could use a vacation! It all sounds super fun, also!

Ewwwwww snow! So sorry about that!
I did some dog-sitting this weekend, too, unfortunately my old dog is not a fan of other dogs in his house and the cat was not thrilled either lol.

I did nothing. Work wore me out on Thursday. I slept most of the day Friday. We did try a new middle eastern place for dinner and it was good so that was positive. Other than that I really didn’t do a whole lot. I did binge daisy jones and the six which was excellent. I literally stayed in bed and watched tv. Also watched the shining because I had insomnia, lol. Yeah that’s a really good movie to watch when you can’t sleep. Hoping work will be better this week

I went to do my stint at the charity shop. Sat morning. Then went and did some plant re'potting, in the Roof garden.
Sunday was spent mostly in bed ,recharging my batteries, and listening to pod casts, and watching some watercolour lessons on a tablet. I really needed to just "be" .
Went out to dinner with hubby later on.

I had been so out of routine for most of last week that I only really did one thing of note - apply for a job that closed on Sunday. Saturday, I am pretty sure I rested most of the day as I was super tired while family was at work.
