Sometimes. We will most likely need groceries today or tomorrow since I'm on the tail end of a nasty virus and haven't gone to do any real shopping in weeks.

Weekday

A mix of meals and fend for yourself (which we call "scrounging").

Really, Cindy? I though we were already pretty bad (or good from a worker's point of view)...Anyway, I won't complain. As far as I am concerned the more holidays the merrier.
 
1. Going out or staying home? I have a brow appointment at Ulta so I will be heading out.
2. Hot or Cold {outside}? In between...57 degrees...but it is currently raining.
3. Do you run errands on the weekend? {Groceries, etc} I usually do. I work full time outside of the home so it's the only time I usually have to do my errands.

5. Make meals or Fend for yourself or Dine out? We make meals on the weekends and most weeknights but there are times we fend for ourselves.

Staying in and making it a work weekend.

Cold. Brrrrr. Currently 19 degrees with feels like of 13.

Sometimes. I mostly do those things on my husband's weekend (he is off Tuesday/Wednesday)

4. Is your household weekend workers or weekday workers? {Typically}
We both usually work on the real weekend (his weekend is noted above haha). My schedule is more flexible though.

5. Make meals or Fend for yourself or Dine out?
It can be a combination of making meals and fending for yourself. Tonight is definitely fend for yourself haha.
 
1. Going out or staying home? Well we both have morning commitments Sat and Sun so after that it's usually staying in and or going to breakfast with friends..me with women, him with men.

2. Hot or Cold {outside}? today? It was 8° this am when we went out! I think the my emergency brake line was partially frozen.My VW Golf was chugging in 1st and 2nd gear.

3. Do you run errands on the weekend? {Groceries, etc} Very rarely but sometimes I get a whim for something and go to the grocery store.

4. Is your household weekend workers or weekday workers? {Typically} both happily retired

5. Make meals or Fend for yourself or Dine out? Last night we ate from the freezer lasagna soup. Tonight I'll make him something and have my own Trader Joe's dumplings. Tomorrow he goes out for his daughter's 54th birthday dinner and I'll fend for myself. That's kind of how our life is. I can always fend but I usually have a couple of things I make for him and godblessem he can it something day after day until its gone. Not me!

2. Hot or Cold {outside}? Warm but compared to everywhere else in the US, hot!
3. Do you run errands on the weekend? {Groceries, etc} Yes, groceries, shopping
4. Is your household weekend workers or weekday workers? {Typically} We're a lawyer (me) and a professor (the hubs) so we are mostly weekday workers but often bring work home on the weekends too.

I went and got my eyebrows done this morning. DH took the kids to the vacuum store, the dollar store, and GameStop. We'll go to church tomorrow morning, and DH and DD will probably go to the Y to swim in the afternoon.

2. Hot or Cold {outside}?
It is very cold outside (about 15 degrees F) with some wind, too, and more than 12 inches of snow with more forecasted tomorrow.

3. Do you run errands on the weekend? {Groceries, etc}
I usually do them on Mondays but there's always something we've forgotten, a part to buy, etc.

4. Is your household weekend workers or weekday workers? {Typically}
My husband works from 8-5:30 M-F and I work from 9-4:30 T-F.

5. Make meals or Fend for yourself or Dine out?
I do all of the cooking. This weekend we've had (frozen) pizza, chocolate chip pancakes & bacon, & tot-chos (lifechanging --- no joke!) and will be having chicken-bacon-ranch casserole tomorrow for dinner. Tomorrow's lunch will be microwaveable things since we get home from church so late. My husband has a gluten intolerance so it's usually easier and safer for him to eat at home.

Epiphany. Courtney, you have no idea! Germany is one of the countries with the most public holidays (most of them religious). And the shops are closed on each one (plus - of course - every Sunday).

That sounds amazing! Seriously. I know it must be frustrating sometimes though.

My husband is at work most weekends. I actually like it because his off days are typically days most people are at work and school, so if we go to visit a museum or the aquarium or something, it tends to be less busy.

I love this about Dh's schedule too! He's usually working weekends.

2. Hot or Cold {outside}? Cold, but warmer than it has been. It has been Up above freezjng today in Northern Alabama.
3. Do you run errands on the weekend? {Groceries, etc} I try to get errands done during the week, but all of my kids have school supplies needed for the new semester that just started, and i need some things printed at Staples so we will be going there tomorrow before lunch.

Currently, i stay home, my husband works Monday-Friday about 7-5 or so. Our 3 teenagers are all in school still, and my sokn will be starting an Senior Internship in a couple of weeks. I have started a Phlebotomy Technician course, so i will be doing clinicals in March and hopefully working after I take my National certification test.
5. Make meals or Fend for yourself or Dine out? Lunches on saturday are fend for yourself, we usually eat out Sunday for lunch and most Friday nights. I cook during the week, or my husband will pick up something for everyone to eat when I am at class. Our youngest does competitive gymnastics, so she doesnt get home until late most nights from practice- so she gets a big snack before practice and has a protein smoothie after she gets home around 9.
 
1. Going out or staying home? Staying home most Saturdays after taking dd to work. Church on Sunday and then sometimes we run here and there. Girl Scouts tomorrow.

2. Hot or Cold {outside}? Very cold - but looking forward to the warmer temps coming. high of 25 today but 66 by Friday. Crazy crazy for winter

4. Is your household weekend workers or weekday workers? {Typically}Husband works Mon-Fri so he relaxes most weekends. I am at home so I do my work during the week too. Daughter is working every Saturday for 10 hours.

5. Make meals or Fend for yourself or Dine out? We have got into the habit of ordering pizza for Sat dinner. Sunday after church we eat out or we eat left over pizza. Otherwise it is fend for yourself. I almost never cook or eat a real meal on Sunday nights (habit from growing up eating that huge Sunday dinner around 2pm.)

2. Hot or Cold {outside}? Here in San Diego the high today was around 70.

3. Do you run errands on the weekend? {Groceries, etc} Sometimes. Even on vacation. Today I went to a store to buy water bottles.

4. Is your household weekend workers or weekday workers? {Typically} My husband works mostly just weekdays but when he’s on a business trip like now he might work on a weekend, like today. As a mom, I work 7 days a week.

There's usually a grocery run (and DH to the hardware store) and every 2nd weekend a trip out

Make meals but they are less planned, often involve leftovers or throw in the oven pre-made stuff - we had chicken tenders on wraps with salad last night and tonight is a cobb loaf with spinach dip in it and salad dipper veggie sticks

2. Hot or Cold {outside}? Cold, but it's not supposed to be. All of Florida is having a real cold spell.
3. Do you run errands on the weekend? {Groceries, etc} I prefer to run errands through the week when the stores are less crowded.

On the very very tail end of our weekend, 11:35 pm Sunday night, lol.. bedtime.

Miss Melody had a sleepover, and I helped a friend sort and destash some (a whole lot of) crafting supplies.

Quite cool on Saturday, Warm on Sunday. But nothing like the extreme weather that rest of Australia (HOT) and USA (Brrr) are getting.

Sometimes I have to, but not this weekend, except taking child to friend's house

Both at the moment. Hubby is working pretty much every day for 2 weeks. He is a security guard. And let's face it, I am a Mum, so my job never ends!

Planned to make meals, but both utterly failed.
Saturday we were supposed to have Sausage and Veggies (baked, one dish, epic flavour, so easy!) but it got too late to bake them so the kids had tin spaghetti and baked beans for dinner and I had leftovers.
Sunday we were supposed to have baked veggies (that I didn't do on saturday) and chicken schnitzel, but when I got the chicken out it smelled awful!! No idea how it could have gone bad, but it was bad... so I boiled the potatoes etc instead and made mashed potato on toast. The kids loved it, it was pretty delicious.

1. Going out or staying home? Saturday was the Kickoff for the FRC (FIRST Robotics Competition) for this season's game. My son is on the team and my husband coaches, so we all went with him to pick up the parts and watch the game preview. Sunday was a Costco run. Othewise, I just stayed home. :)

2. Hot or Cold {outside}? Cold. This morning (Monday) was a balmy 30 degF, but over the weekend it was all single digits. (At least they were all above 0!)

3. Do you run errands on the weekend? {Groceries, etc} We tend to go to the store every day or so, for things we need day to day; things that are not necessities are usually put off to some distant weekend.

4. Is your household weekend workers or weekday workers? {Typically} Weekday

5. Make meals or Fend for yourself or Dine out? Mostly dine out, since weekends are nearly always spent on the road. (Practices, meetings, get-togethers, errands, etc. We are away from home more often than not, on weekends.)

2. Hot or Cold {outside}? Absolutely Freezing.. 10 degrees with wind chills in single digits and ice packed snow with no plowing in sight
3. Do you run errands on the weekend? {Groceries, etc} I go to the grocery on Sunday mornings.
4. Is your household weekend workers or weekday workers? {Typically} we are both retired.
5. Make meals or Fend for yourself or Dine out? Most of the time we make meals home.. we try to go out for dinner at least once a month.

Hello! it has been awhile. One goal for the new year is to be back here more regularly. I let planners take over, but I have stories to tell. TLP is my digital home, and I missed friends. :beat
I thought the question was which weather I prefer. Cold for sure... you can layer up. :giggle
