Weather where you are

High of 45 today which felt pretty good when DH and I went to Costco this afternoon. The low was 23 this morning.

Here in central Virginia this week it's colder than it has been since last winter, like in the twenties, and a snowstorm predicted to dump up to two feet on us is coming this weekend!

Not too hot, but humid, which can be miserable
Exactly, humidity is the killer. I once travelled a bit further south one summer for a job interview and it was 31C but less humid so I managed ok.....sure it was hot but manageable compared to when it's humid here

Been all over the place where I am. Monday was a high of 14F, Tuesday was a high of 17F. Yesterday was a high of 40F. Today's high is predicted to be 27F. Then we are back into the teens and single digits until the end of the month. It is windy so the feels like temps are even lower. Oh yeah, winter storm Saturday and Sunday. Right now the prediction is around 8 inches of snow total.

I did my grocery shopping yesterday and I'm hibernating for at least a week.

It's a blistering 22F here this morning! Warm compared to part of the U.S. today where they are bracing for a massive snow storm. Only supposed to get up to 39F as the day goes on. We need some rain. It's just been foggy, then burns off and gets pretty sunny, but c-c-c-cold for those of us used to mild winters.

In Belgium, the last few days we've had temperatures around 8 to 9°C. The nights are chilly, but it's sunny during the day...

Here south of Atlanta it's been raining off and on all day. It's 48 F tonight, but a big rain storm is coming this weekend and with the temps dropping it'll likely freeze and cause problems with black ice on the roads and downed powerlines. Georgia has tons of trees and most of the powerlines are above ground, so when there's ice it breaks the trees and powerlines.

We were supposed to go to Nashville for the weekend, but we aren't anymore. The governor of Georgia just declared a state of emergency for the whole state. It's not worth taking the chance of being stuck on the roads somewhere between here and Nashville in an ice storm. I've stocked up on water, and easy foods and treats, so I guess it'll be a weekend in for us... maybe I can get my hubby to play some board and card games with me.

Everyone stay safe out there this weekend. :agree
