WAVING BACK to all my new Pollywog Friends! Thanks so much for the warm welcome, everyone! I just finished uploading my first scrap page and added it to the Template Challenge thread, as well.

I've been a novice photographer for 7 years and decided that scrapping digitally made the most since for being able to share memories with many people instead of having one tangible copy. I've made a few pages so far and hope to scrap hundreds eventually and create books that can be printed out for my children and grandchildren.

I live in the mountains of western NC on Lake James. I've been married 34 years (this December) to the love of my life. We have two grown children... a son, Michael and a daughter Anna Melissa. Michael is married to Rebekah and they have three children.. Zoey Noelle, age 3 (will be 4 on Christmas Eve) and twin sons, Eli and Leo, who turned ONE today (October 10th)!

I will be scrapping a lot of pages of the grandchildren, which I fondly call my "Grandshrimp", but also want to scan lots of old photos of my children and do pages for them, as well.

Again... thanks for the very warm welcome! I know that every visit to the Lilypad galleries will whet my appetite to create! You are ALL so very talented!

I didn't know you have to start with a certain post count to start adding to the gallery? Oh well, even though I sometimes still feel very new here, I guess I'm not so new anymore.
 
aw, what a wonderful family story - I am a grandmother as well! Our kids and grand baby are our lives - they are just so precious. Welcome and have fun, it is just wonderful here. ♥
