oh goodness Bobbie! that is horrible. i hope you start to feel a little better each day, ouch, ouch, OUCH! not a very fun way to spend the holiday weekend. but so glad to hear you are OK! it is very sad how distracted drivers are, there were 3 hit and runs (all pedestrians on the side of the road not on bikes, but still) in my little town since spring! hit and run!!! what is wrong with people? they caught 2 ... the 3rd i'm not sure they found the person. one of the victims was a classmate at my daughter's school.

Thank you for all your prayers and well wishes I too was hoping that they gave this woman a ticket when we read the police report several days later it was clear she was in the wrongy show asked police it she got a ticket and he said the police can only give ticket when they witness something which makes sense. Also I too thought she must've been on the phone and as u all said it could've been worse and thank goodness it wasn't and thank goodness I didn't need any surgery. It is beautiful here in my today dh is home and one of my dh and sil and dgs will come later today for the weekend. I am hoping to sit on my deck soon. Thank you all dear friends

That's unfortunate. Here in California, if you were in an accident and were "at fault", you can still receive a "point" from DMV even if you didn't get a ticket. How do I know? I was in a minor little scrap and the other person reported it to DMV and I got the ding. Hope your recovery is coming along okay!!

Yikes! That is so scary! I am so sorry this happened to you and that you're in pain because of it. I sure hope that you mend quickly and completely and can get back to scrapping and just normal life too!
