Waiting....

Not all fun has to have a point, Berniek! :giggle At least for me, the fun is the point! @berniek

I'm still waiting, still refusing to clean deeper, and just finished moving all items over to an EHD for transfer. I might scrap, since I don't want to eat my pantry... but that will go slow. One program at a time sorta slow and no internet while scrapping or I freeze! :)

I am in the same boat as you Jenn, waiting for my new laptop....I keep checking the tracking, thinking it will change since I checked it a few hours ago.
That is a good idea to go through my files and get them ready to transfer.

Guess what?! It's supposed to come Tuesday... and we are supposed to get a foot of SNOW! UGH! If this makes me wait longer!!!!!! Grrr.... bur seriously, Murphy's Law! :giggle

It would be super fantastic if you got it right before the snow....then you would have the perfect excuse for "having to" staying home, warm and playing with your new computer.

There's always some kind of chore or cleaning to do around here.

I feel like the only time I'm every waiting on something is when I'm at the doc...and then I'm usually with kids! But, if I do have that rare moment when I'm waiting & have nothing to do I will read.

Jenn, I hope it comes tmw--or you can get a discount if it arrives late cuz of the snow! But on the bright side, if there is a snow day on Tues, think of the fun pics you'll take that you can scrap once you get your fun new laptop!

I would be obsessively checking the tracking status on my delivery! :giggle Certainly wouldn't be cleaning. Pssshh. Netflix is my usual go to, or painting/art journaling.

We are moving into Snowmaggedon weather watch, :giggle. Now, I'm hearing close to 18." I don't expect it to arrive tomorrow. :( Oh well... what is meant to be is meant to be.

I will not clean! LOL!

You were the first person I thought about when I heard about the storm. What horrible timing! Maybe they'll be rushing shipments to be delivered today. Let's keep our fingers crossed!

Trader Joe's was a madhouse this morning. I went for my regular shopping, and I actually had to stop by Safeway on my way home to get the items TJ's was already out of at 10:00 am!

@QuiltyMom
I did the groceries yesterday, so we are stocked! Plenty of HC and marshmallows, lol!
If only the computer would arrive early! It won't... it's in Secaucus. At the rate they deliver, and the snow, Wednesday. Fingers crossed for then too... it will be slick in the morning.

Be safe, Jan! Up here, snow is one thing and we are pretty used to it... by you, ice and snow is tricky, and from my SIL's account, they aren't are as used to the snow/ice or treat is like we do in NJ.

I thought about Jenn @jk703 too! But Jan, I can't believe TJ's was out of stuf by 10am. Eek! We're well stocked here so I'm going to avoid the stores at all costs. (Having said that, now I feel like I've got to double-check the pantry/fridge!)

@Tree City Around here people go into an absolute panic when they see a snowflake. It's almost funny, except that you can't find anything. At least I could get what I needed at Safeway. They were relatively calm - for the moment.

My favorite on the phone is Triva Crack. My daughter and I currently have 4 open games with each other. I usually play with friends, but she also plays random people. It is fun.

Spider Solitaire on the laptop and on the phone.

People watching is almost always good if you are in a public place where you won't be noticed staring.

Bummer. Sorry about the computer!
We're planning on staying in. If DD wants to get to the rink, then we'll hop the bus!
Right now they're saying 1-3 inches, but a mess. Rain, freezing, wintry mix. Ick. Your SiL is right. But they're getting better!
They've already cancelled school for tomorrow. My guess Wednesday, too, because it'll all freeze.

And my DH wants your snow. He's been in a funk because we haven't had a good snow here. Stay safe and warm!

Oh geez! Of all the times for a late spring snowstorm! Maybe you could sell your services to the ski resorts? Just order a new laptop anytime they are running low on snow. :giggle

Well.... ugh! My computer is delayed till tomorrow, and it even teased me and said it was out for delivery this morning. And there isn't even a heck of a lot of snow! I think we have between 3-6". The storm pushed northwest, so we are getting hammered by snowsleetrain. Ick, even worse. It will freeze over tonight too!

So, we are just lounging around, and playing games. At least I got to sleep till 8, and I'm not at work - though I pry could have gone in! DH is working and says the roads are horrendous (verizon), so I'm pry better off. He might be working Saturday if they send him home.

Continuing my impatient wait, lol! Maybe I'll cook something.
