Lately, I'm not very good at waiting for things. I want it all and I want it now. This is especially true when it comes to the tv shows I want to watch. I'm so glad it's January and some of my favorite shows are finally starting up again.

Are you waiting for something and how are you with waiting?
 
LOL I am waiting too... at least next week Monday is Good Dr and then This is US, Good trouble and a few others will be back and then the following week will be a Million Little Things will be back :)
 
I'm waiting on like 3 shows to start back up again. I never used to watch much tv at all, but my son got me hooked on Supernatural, and my bff got me hooked on The Walking Dead. So here I sit. I did binge the new season of You and I'm currently watching Criminal Minds to fill time.
 
I’m so busy if I’m waiting for something I can do something else to keep me occupied. Probably the most annoying thing I wait for is my computer to wake up. It’s a sluggish, old 2011 iMac. I just read on my phone or get something to eat while I wait.
 
I'm getting worse with waiting the older I get. A few shows are starting - we got all excited because AGT (America's Got Talent) started last night but it was The Champions - we really don't care about who won all over the world. Some of was pretty lame (in our opinions). We like Bull and it was new last night. I'm taping it and we'll probably watch it tonight.
 
I don't really like waiting either, but I've learned over the years to just cool my heels. I tend to wait in medical offices, so I always make sure I have a book downloaded, or a "real" book, or my cross stitching to help me pass the time.

Most of our TV watching is on demand, so usually I can binge a series and then while I'm waiting for more, there are so many other series to watch in the meantime! Also, I'm an avid reader, so I'd say I'm worse about waiting for the next book in a series to come out than I am a TV show.

So long answer longer . . . I don't like waiting. LOL
 
I can wait...there's always a couple new books by my chair downstairs, one or two on my iPad, ironing to do (I like to iron!), papers to sort and cull, and endless things to do. I'm never bored.

but I am glad to hear This is Us will be back soon and Season 6 of Bosch should be here in the spring. Now I'm on season 2 of Jack Ryan and then there is always The Americans to get back into. <-- That almost seems a period piece these days! Between Amazon Prime and Netflix I almost never watch network tv.
 
I'm waiting for our youngest to arrive safely in Italy. His plane has just arrived in Abu Dhabi at exactly the wrong time in regards to world events... Not worried so much today but if things go bad, he is flying out through there in a couple of weeks so hoping good sense prevails...

i hope everything goes well and he’ll be safe and be able to enjoy his trip.
 
I’m always waiting for something......usually it’s answers from employers when I’ve submitted job applications. Most I hear back from one way or another but then there’s some that I’ve been waiting months and months on to the point I’ve accepted the fact it’s 95% chance it’s a no.
 
Ever since I've had a smart phone, waiting (in the sense of waiting in the car or at the doctor's, etc.) isn't dreaded anymore becuase I can just pull out my phone and play a game or read.

My biggest wait now, is waiting for a package to arrive and mostly those come faster than expected since Amazon is taking over the world. :giggle

I am waiting for a couple of shows to come back on, like Ozarks, but I've been so busy with December/Christmas stuff and then over the last two weeks painting my kitchen cabinets that I haven't had time to watch anything anyway. I still have the whole season 3 of The Crown to watch and that's been out for weeks! SO unlike me. Ha ha!
 
We just have amazon prime so there's not much waiting for new shows around here.

One thing I'm struggling with right now is waiting for my 12 year old. I feel like I'm always waiting for her to do/finish something...usually a school assignment or her chores or for her to get in the van. She's soooooo slow and gets sidetracked so easily! I have 7 kids and she's by far the one that drives me the craziest!!!

I can relate to this with both my hubby and my DD 13... hehe
