Just a reminder to all the US residents (as if you need the reminder at this point) that today is the day! At least at the end of this day the political commercials and phone calls will subside!

(This is NOT meant to be an invitation to open up political debate)... simply encouragement to get out to the polls and cast your vote! I'll be going around 1:00 when I get off of work. :thumbsups

I'll be heading to our polling place today!

Can't wait to be able to answer my home phone again! LOL!

We are going after we attend a bunch of parent/teacher conferences at school this morning.

No matter who you support, I always think it is exciting to watch the election results. I wonder if we will know who the winner is tonight?

As soon as hubby gets home. I didn't vote 4 years ago because I forgot. :assslap oops Definitely voting this time around. I even set an alarm for this afternoon. :giggle

I voted! My little precinct actually had a line this morning... When I arrived, I was the youngest person there. While I was marking my ballot (Michigan has 6 ballot initiatives/proposals today) I overheard a girl signing in... this was her very first election! So exciting. Some of us waited for her to cast her ballot and applauded as she left. Happy to see young people taking this seriously.

Thank god for early ballot voting that you can mail in! I voted a few weeks ago, so my only duty today is to sit back and watch it unfold.

I voted! My sister stopped by and asked me to walk over to the polls with her. And when we got there we saw my brother in the voting both with 4 extra legs - my nieces were there too! We had a little family gathering at the polls. Cabanas do their part! :)

I voted early, and thank goodness too! i can't imagine traipsing through the line with four little girls in tow. Carolee i don't think it will be called tonight. At least not by the time i go to bed...I am CST.

This! I'm so tired of the calls!

I went today at my morning break. It's right across the road from where I work, so that was easy to do! :)

Voted! And here's to the end of a very heated campaign year (ads and phone calls and all)! :stash

I fulfilled my duty as an american! I voted and bought all the Reeese's PB pumpkins that were left in Walmart at $0.17 a piece!

Voted today - I was the 394th voter in my precinct at 10:00am. Love having the freedom/right to vote!

Well, technically, you have to be a US citizen to vote, not just a resident. I wanted to make the distinction because I was at one time a "Resident Alien" according to the US government because I'm foreign-born. I have since then (a long time ago already) become sworn-in as a citizen and can vote. I put my mail-in ballot into the mail last week! :) I always vote!
