I've been answering individual posts and thank you to everybody for PMing me. I decided to post this update as of today (Thursday). (Here's the original post: https://the-lilypad.com/forum/threads/i-could-use-prayers-good-thoughts.59593/
My granddaughter is doing very well, but she has her young age on her side. She's still in bed resting a lot, but she has spells where she feels very energetic and wants to help me do things, like re-organize the kitchen. My daughter asked me if I could do that while I was here and I've been working on that in my "spare" time. I've also been wrapping Christmas presents, which I haven't even done at home. Haha
My daughter didn't come home until Tuesday and was feeling pretty rough, but she started perking up yesterday afternoon. She even wanted to ride with me to McDonald's to get food. In fact, they both rode with me. Ava went to the drug store with me earlier.
They've both had home health care nurses and Ava's nurse pretty much said that he didn't need to come back unless she needed him to. Adrienne's nurse said the same thing and her physical therapist was thrilled with her progress, but wants to come back in a few days just to check on her.
All of you here at TLP ROCK!!! I've been so moved by all of your PM's, prayers, cyber hugs and good wishes. What a wonderful community and I'm so thrilled to be a part of it!
