Trend watch - MIST {TUTORIAL}

Farrah, my lovely, you two, mum & daughter, are beautiful beyond words.... & I can feel the beauty in mum isn't just from the outside.....and I rarely am wrong with people. :)

I have this thing about hoarding, of course I am selective as much as possible, but have had things that I didn't throw away and then had the joy of seeing Sarita wear....how beautiful that you have the dress...not only that...but OMG you dress her with cowboy boots!!!!!!!!!!!!! that is my most loved foot wear in life!!!!!!

She is gorgeous, as are you, and, as I said, I doubt that is just the external beauty.
Nice to meet you, Miss Farrah- (I know you maybe a Mrs, but I feel you so young, it has to sound Miss...the thing about the English language in my head, difficult to explain, but...oh gosh, I better go LOL)

So how come you didn't flatten all the gesso layers together and just make one mask as opposed to having three copies of the photo and three separate masks?

LOL...not that young...and definitely married. We just celebrated 8 years yesterday. Anyways...THANK YOU

yes...I could have done that. I always like to keep layers separate in case I change my mind after I see a final product. I might have wanted to change one or more of the gesso layers once I added the other elements. I'm not sure it matters and I doubt my way is the only way...just trying to be helpful =)

I was just wondering if there was something I was missing by not flattening; I am usually NOT a flattener...but I don't think it would have occurred to me to make three copies of the photo to mask. :) Wanting to save your ability to edit later is definitely a good reason to do it your way. :)

Thanks for explaining, I love to read other thought processes. =)

Great tutorial Farrah! Love seeing the process in action.
