What is the farthest you have traveled from your hometown?

I have traveled pretty far in both directions....From Denver to Austria (towards the east) and from Denver to the Cook Islands (towards the west).....I would love to travel more and can't wait for the world to get back to some sort of "normal" and open up again.

How about you?

To California to the west and then also to the UK and Europe / Germany for the east

Take your pick... Ohio to California by air. Ohio to Florida by air and by driving. Ohio to Roatan Isle, Honduras and Belize City, Belize by cruise ship.

From Seattle in the US to the:
North- Alaska, USA
South - Santa Domingo, Dominican Republic
West - Hawaii, USA
East - Sinai Peninsula, Egypt

I miss traveling, heck I miss going to the grocery store!

International from the USA:
- west to China
- east to Belgium - also been to Scotland, England, and Ireland
- south to Bahama's - although they are not that far south I suppose compared to Florida

Within the USA:
- north to Alaska & Yukon in Canada
- south to Key West and Galveston in Texas
- west to California
- east to Boston (hmmm, I could go a bit further here)

West to Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam
South to Peru, Australia, New Zealand
East to Dubai, Oman, and many many years ago to India and Nepal

East to Germany where I lived for 15 months (Army). Then I've been VA to CA and back three times ... twice round trip by plane, the first time flew out and drove back. Am looking forward to going back soon to visit my son and DIL who moved out there 5 years ago. I've traveled north to Maine, south Florida. Cruised to the Bahamas and Cozumel.

My longest trip ever so far was when we flew from Los Angeles to Stockholm in 1998. Unlike the route shown in this screenshot, however, I think our layover was in Frankfurt, Germany. My memory could be mixing up other trips though. I've been to Stockholm three times -- I remember once we had a layover in Copenhagen and I can't remember the other time -- but the other two times were from the U.S. east coast. It probably felt longer in 2002 because we had our first baby with us. :D

From Michigan - we vacationed for many years in Florida before moving there. We went to Texas - Brownsville one winter, then into Mexico. I've been to California several times, too, and many states in between. I've been to NYC, and all over the Canadian border states, and into Canada many times, since it was right across the river from us.

Overseas; to Germany and Austria.

Internationally would be to Vancouver, Canada. Domestically would be to Christchurch, New Zealand (approx 90 min flight away)

The farthest south has been Barbados (such a lovely country) and the farthest North and East has been Sweden, Iceland and Norway. I can’t wait to get back to traveling again. I so want to return to Sweden to visit my family there again.

From my childhood home (Connecticut) and my current home (Virginia):

North-Quebec City (but I think Edinburgh is further north than Quebec, so Edinburgh is the furthest north I've been)
South-The southernmost point of the US in Key West, FL (and we have a photo of teenaged me with the sign to prove it, LOL)
East-London
West-San Francisco

I've yet to travel internationally, but in the US:

West: Branson, MO
Northeast: Baltimore, MD
South: Orlando, FL

Internationally, I've been to the UK, China, Saudi Arabia, and Indonesia.. Indonesia is the nearest from Malaysia, and the UK is the farthest. Had to take 2 planes to arrive there.
