I was driving into boston this morning.. and i was thinking, they should really change the speed limit/highway system. Like if you have a 4 or 5 or whatever lane highway, the left lanes speed limit should be like.. 90, bc i'm going to try to drive that fast anyway, then progressively lower, 70, 50, and the furthest right you can go 2 mph if you really insist on it :p ALSO.. hov/carpool lane...... it should be required that you go 90 in there too.. or at least faster than the rest of the freaking traffic :p
Maybe one day when we have computer controlled cars we'll just have these tube things on the highway.. where your car goes in and it spits you out the other end super fast :p
Traffic is poop :p

i kept trying to convince the cars to move by wooshing them with my hand. every time i get stuck behind someone slow the bf will pat my head and say "now now.. stay calm, no need to get hysterical" ... one day i will bite him :p

Oh yes, bigfatboo to traffic. I live in a place where people are really low on situational awareness so I have to mentally prepare myself so that I'm in a "happy place" while on the road, a low blood pressure, just keep swimming place, lol!

I'm normally very calm while driving...unless I get cut off a few times, and then I'm raging!

I think because my dh is a crazy driver and stresses so much, I stay calm because I have to calm him down (and the boys too).

I'd like anything that would get me to work much faster!!! My commute is about an hour and it's exhausting! I thought we'd have those Jetson cars by now that we could fold up into a brief case! I'd like one of those or a TARDIS. :)

a tardis would be fabulous! let's get cracking on making it a reality! lol

Traffic can be HORRENDOUS in Orlando! Don't go out around 4:30-6'ish on I4 or near the mall. It's ridiculous! I can't stand the pokies out there (slow pokes)! If you're not going to drive the speed limit or at least 5 over than get off the road! :giggle

:rofl @ La having road rage

It's not me that has the problem.....its everyone else! LOL DH & I discuss this quite often and he definitely has Road Rage! OMG, I thought when he retired that he'd slow down a little but that is definitely not the case with the Wild Man! He's freakin' NUTZ!

LOL you would hate me!! I'm a big speed limit guru, and people are always behind me, like on my bumper, because I have always got my cruise set exactly at the speed limit, heaven forbid. It drives me nuts when people pass me when I am driving the limit. :P

i agree with you on the HOV lane. . . at least go OVER the speed limit! and by more than 5mph~

I agree with you on Orlando, Brandi! Don't forget anywhere near the airport and if it rains on I4 (even for a little bit) it's just awful! AND near the attractions because the tourists in their rental cars easily go from four lanes across without even looking!

For some reason, I never pictured you as driving... anything, La. Sorry. :giggle I guess I always pictured you getting around by foot or scooter or animal! Bwah ha ha.

It drives me insane when trucks drive in the left lane(s) on a 4-5 lane interstate. Yes, I can get behind (hardy har har) them being in the almost-rightest lane so that they don't have to deal with cars trying to merge onto the road, but semis driving any farther over than that better have a rocket shooting fire out the back! I imagine one day finally going over the edge, hopping onto the side of one a la Spiderman (with my car magically still driving itself, I guess!), and then reaching into the cab window to junkpunch the driver.

it would take me like 12 hrs to walk to boston :p ian doesn't drive, but he lives in the city so it's silly to have a car there.

The speed limit here is 70 mph in most places, which means that people go 80-85. I don't mind the speed, but I definitely mind when I see people (too many!!!) going 80 mph while texting. Ugh.

LOL I'm the calmest driver ever. If someone in front of me slows down to 40, I just go 40. Whatever.

Once in a while I get ragey, but not often.

This is me too! (minus the boys :giggle)

Oh this REALLY bothers me! If I need to text or whatever, I wait till I'm at a stop light/sign or parked. I can't stand it when people text and drive! :furious
Not cool.
