I always struggle with meals that everyone in the house likes (we are a family of 5) ... so tonight I made burgers. Everyone, of course, likes theirs a little different. How do you like yours?

There must be something in the air because we had sliders tonight. The kids agree on toppings (ketchup, no mustard) but they don't agree on burgers. DD doesn't like sliders, but DS does. DS doesn't like "regular" burgers, but DD does. Sigh. (Well, they both complain about their non-fave burger choice, but they both eat regular burgers and sliders, so do they really not like them, or do they just enjoy complaining and making me feel like my head is going to explode?) For me, I had bacon and bleu cheese on mine, with a smidgen of mustard. That's my fave. (Bleu cheese is the ONLY acceptable cheese on a burger.) DH hates ketchup so he never has it on anything. He likes fancy mustard, so he has a few jars. Lately he's been into spicy-hot pickles on his burgers. He had some Famous Dave's devil's pickles, I think.

When I'm out, I usually order "with everything". But for the most part my fav burger toppings are lettuce, mayo, and onions.

Ketchup, mayo, bacon, tomato, and cheese. I love pickles, but I like them *off* my burgers and sandwiches. Oh, and buttering and broiling the bun first definitely makes it even tastier. :)

That said, I'm not much of a burger eater unless my husband's grilling. He makes killer burgers!

I also like specialty burgers - I had one with grilled onions and Brie not too long ago that was really yummy.

Mayo, American cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion. Preferably on Bunny bread buns and with a hamburger grilled by my dad - although hubby makes a pretty good burger, too!

    Ketchup only.

Unless I go to Wendy's... then it has to be mayo, lettuce and tomato.

Don't know why, but that is the only place I will eat a burger that way. And, it is always a double at Wendy's.

I don't eat meat, so no burgers for me. And I don't do grains, so no veggie burgers or buns for me either. I'll take all the toppings though, unless it is pickles. I despise pickles.

At home has to be the homemade beef burger patties from our local grocery store then, lettuce, tomato and cheese.

When I’m out I usually go with whatever the burger has minus mustard and raw onion - cooked I don’t mind. I am picky about where I go to a certain degree for takeout, tends to either be Carl’s Jr/Hardee’s (mainly cause my mum works there so will sometimes bring burgers home for dinner), Burger King or Wendy’s. I will have McDonalds but value for money it isn’t worth it.

I have a few different burgers I like, but I tend to like them will lots of stuff on them - a few of my favorite toppings are bacon, avocado or guacamole, spicy peppers, feta or blue cheese, mushrooms, grilled onions and BBQ sauce. I don't dislike the more standard toppings either (lettuce, tomato, ketchup, mustard, pickles). I'm not a fan of mayo, but there are a few places that have good "burger sauce" that I will use sparingly.

    DS1: ketchup and yellow mustard
DS2: ketchup and yellow mustard (used very sparingly)
DS3: he's only 23 mo, so he gets his cut up with ketchup for dipping or just plain
DH: he likes his hawaiian style if we are eating out a place that serves it and many of the same topping I like, but he's not a picky eater. He just doesn't do raw onions.
