I've been doing some organizing and I'm about 2 years down so thought I would see who my top three designers were at this point (I'm about 20% sorted by designer).

I had a pretty clear idea going in that Just Jaimee would 99% be number one and probably a combination of Fiddle Dee Dee Designs/Pink Reptile Designs & Mommyish as my next ones

So far the story is in order

1) Pink Reptile Designs
2) Just Jaimee
3) Allison Pennington (love her alphas so not a total surprise)
4) Little Butterfly Wings
5) Bella Gypsy (big surprise considering I hardly use their kits once I've bought them)

Wonder how my top 5 will change as I get into stuff thats older....I expect more of Jaimee's stash will be there

Interesting to think about then look at.

I would say before looking that Scrapping With Liz is #1 for me... and she is.

But #'s 4 and 5 all time are not designers here but I CT'd for both of them which is why I have lots of their stuff. One is retired and the other is looking for a new store... wish she could come here!

Interesting, how do you determine the hierarchy?
Volume? size of mbs, Cause NBK has huge collections.
OR number of kits/collections?
I know that through the 8 years here, my fave designers have changed as my own taste and style has grown.
I still have a huge collection of One Little Bird, there wasn't too much that she released that I passed up.
And then the designers I Ct for, I can't pick favourites - they're all amazing and I love them.
My artsy collection is growing now.
I love the way this hobby keeps us hooked.

Oh I was just interested in seeing my top few as I was organising....I definitely knew that Jaimee would be my number one but pleasantly surprised at a few of my top ones but in reality most of my top ones make sense to me based on my style.
 
@Eyeore I store my kits in a folder for each kit under the designer name. I just looked at the number of items I had in each folder. Even though SWL had less folders than BG for me, I knew I had more kits because of how I've organized her folder... such as all state templates are sub-folders of a state folder. Right there is over 50 more "kits"!
 
Oh geez.. how to even go about this.. :spin Just glancing through the number of products I own per designer without any real scientific counting, I'd guess my top 5 were (not necessarily in this order)
  1. MPM monthly kits (does that count?)
  2. Sahlin Studio
  3. Allison Pennington
  4. Sara Gleason
  5. Val Wibbens
  6. ForeverJoy

That's totally not representative of my designer admiration, though.. Because I'm super in love with Liz and Elif's beautiful minimalist style, and Rachel and Val's mixed media styles, but I can't for the life of me make decent pages that properly showcases their amazing work, so I don't own a lot of it.. yet... :giggle Really.. just SO many AMAZING designers here!! :heartslub
 
Well two ish weeks later and a bit has changed yet some has stayed the same.....going to be setting myself some challenges to use some of the designers that I surprisingly hoard rather than use

Top 5 ended up being Jaimee (duh....no surprise), Pink Reptile, Allison, Little Butterfly Wings & Sara. To be completely honest I'm surprised that Sara was in but Mommyish was out so my first designers I want to really use are Sara & Bella Gypsy - got 10gb between them.
 
I :heartlub love all the designers here at the Lilypad, but I do have my go to designers for the style of LOs I like to create.

Lately I have been getting more into trying MMA LOs. Just going from my massive wishlist of kits I want to purchase my top 5 designers at the moment are:

1 Rachel Jeffries
2 Little Butterfly Wings
3 Lynn Grievesen
4 Michelle Lincoln Designs
5 Sabrina's Creations
 
NBK Designs has a lot of great MMA too... I use all of the designers for MMA.. The designs of all can be used in any style of layout :) I mix an match all :) Enjoy!
