Toes! I realize the need, but I don't like the look of them, haha! I have a friend that hates them, but another that is indifferent. They are also funny about pedicures. The one that hates them tries to make them pretty, and the one that is indifferent leaves them be.

I personally like painted toes for myself. I am going to do mine myself tonight before the holiday weekend! Wooo Hoooo. I got a dark shade of blue, and then a white glitter to add on top! I'm hoping it looks nice. I also have a pink glitter I could put rather than the white, but I'll see.

I do but don't go often.
I do the pedicures myself. Saves some money and I can do them whenever.
I love blues. Then add a sparkle on top. Also pinks!
I've had nail fungus and my one toenail grows funny, so I paint on the skin! Shhhhh! :giggle

I've never had a pedicure, not sure I know what one is really.
I never use nail polish at all, not even on my finger nails.
Some of my toes are badly shaped due to ill fitting shoes throughout childhood.
 
Do you like pedicures? Hate them. I've tried a few times at the salon thinking it looks so great, but I am miserable the whole time. Well, I do enjoy the leg massage :)

Do you do them yourself? Yep, I do everything myself.

Favorite toe nail polish color? or Plain? Oooh I change the color pretty often. Right now they are black. Sometimes they are blue or pink or yellow or purple...whatever strikes my fancy at the time lol

Any toes issues in the past? I've lost a toenail or two over the years, but they grew back. One of my big toenails has like a dip going up one side of it that just doesn't go away.
 
I've never had a pedicure and not interested.

I used nail polish a few times long ago. Can't be bothered.

No specifically toe problems, but I have wide feet so have always preferred being shoeless. And I'm currently having a some pain in my right heel; maybe plantar fasciitis, which I think I had in 2017 for a while too. After school ends this week I'm going to try staying off my feet for 2-3 weeks and hopefully it will heal. I will miss my daily walks!
 
I'd go get a pedicure right now if I had the money! I never can reach my toes well enough to do my own anymore, but I love painted toe nails...purple, orange, hot pink, blue! They're all fun! No toe/feet issues over here except the occasional pinkie toe hang nail!

Do you do them yourself? Most of the time. My daughter offered to give me one for Mother's Day so I'm definitely taking her up on it!
Favorite toe nail polish color? or Plain? I love blues but switch colors a lot. Your holiday nails sound fun Jenn! I love the look of glitter but hate scrubbing it off so I usually just use smooth polish.
Any toes issues in the past? Not for me but my daughter got an ingrown toenail fixed and it traumatized both of us!

Any toes issues in the past? I may have broken a toe or two through bashing them in years gone by. Just left them to heal though.
 
Do you like Pedicures?? I never wore any nail polish and never anything re my toes. About 12-14 years ago I started getting manicures and pedicures and have not looked back!

Do you do them yourself? No. While I never liked having someone touch my feet, I tried a mani/pedi when I started wearing a lot of open toe shoes. I have been going now to the same person all this time, and rarely go to someone else if my person is on vacation etc., so I have gotten used to it.

Favorite Toe Nail Polish? I get the French gel manicure and a regular French pedicure.

Any Toe issues in the past? My nails are so tough that I have issues cutting them myself and so that is why I go. [I do the French so when they start to grow out I do not have to worry about going more than once a month.]

also:

When I was 16 I cut my left big toe on the bottom on an angle pretty much to the bone due to a built in pool cover flipping up when I caught the corner of it getting out of a pool... I had to have stitches and so I still have scarring on the bottom of it.

Favorite toe nail polish color? or Plain? I leave mine plain except in the summer when I wear sandals and then 99% of the time I have a fun hot pink color that I love. I just painted my toes for the first time this year over the weekend. Yay!

Do you like pedicures? yes, I love pedicures-- I can't stand to have sandals on without my toe nails painted-- not worried about other people's toes but for me I need to have polish on if my toes are showing. I get pedicures year-round, but less often in the cooler seasons.
Do you do them yourself? I do not usually paint them myself- but I do use foot masks to remove thick callouses every few months. I found an awesome salon with this wonderful guy who does the best foot massages last month, so I plan to return to him for my pedicures in the future!
Favorite toe nail polish color? or Plain? I prefer reds or sparkly taupe/champagne colors for my toes.
Any toes issues in the past? I did ballet growing up and have always dealt with ingrown nails on my big toes. I have a wonderful podiatrist who keeps my ingrown nails in check. I have dealt with toenail fungus in the past but that has been under control for a while.
 
I use to paint my toenails as a teen, but haven't in 40+ years. My toes are old and I have very dry skin, toenails are kinda gross (fungus, split nails due to slamming them into furniture b/c I like to go barefooted) so I don't want to call attention to them by painting my nails.

Not really as I have a super sensitive left foot from ankle surgery in 1996 and then more recently I have had nerve issues with my toes.

Nope, mainly cause my arms are too short to reach my toes

Plain but only cause I don't do any real beauty stuff

Yes both ankle sensitivity from surgery - it's less sensitive as time has gone by and more recently unexplained toe numbness in both feet. I also have really tough toenails as well.
 
I'm surprised so many don't paint their toes, lol! I don't think I ever go without polish on my toes in the summer. Winter doesn't matter. :giggle That could be how I grew up... all of my family was more if you have open toed shoes on, you wear polish. (Which is odd, since I don't like it on my fingernails). It could also be my area?

I'm all for the whatever floats your boat though - you do you! :)

@KayTeaPea What masks have you used that worked on calluses? I would love a recommendation!!

Any toes issues in the past? i was a dancer of ballet so all my toes have been broken at least once or twice! some don't move anymore ! *L* otherwise no
 
Do you like pedicures? Do you do them yourself? I have had a couple professional pedicures in the past but now do my own toenails because I am paranoid about getting a fungus from going to a salon. :D Seriously, it freaks me out. I don't get manicures either. Other than the fungus issue, I always feel like it is a waste of time and money. Just isn't my thing. But, I do keep my toes painted because living in AZ, I wear sandals and flip flops 90% of the time.

Any toes issues in the past? I mostly have good toes. They are straight and look pretty good and don't give me issues. my grandma had all kinds of toe issues and she always told me to stretch my toes to avoid that and I have!

Its funny because I'm the same way -- I feel weird with open-toed shoes without polish but I don't wear polish on my fingernails.
