today was stupid.

My daughter used to rip her knees all the time and still would wear them to school at times, or we would put cute patches on them. And surely did cut them off for Summer. How dumb.

Older kids buy jeans that are ripped already as a fashion statement...lol
 
Are you kidding me?? This is absolutely ridiculous.
How could they dare to embarrass a kid about something so dumb.
What a good thing to teach a kid.... to be ashamed over ripped pants.
I'm mad for you.

And an FYI. Gabe rips holes in his knees within 1month of new jeans.
So ummmm..... yeah... he's been wearing them like that for awhile. LOL!!!
Unless they are singing in church do I feel they need to worry more
about their "looks" or spending more time to be more presentable.
 
How horrible for both of you La! Our school system is very strict. borderline school uniforms!! No holes in anything. no short skirts, short shorts, tanks, crops, low cut shirts, see through shirts, ripped clothes, holy jeans, advertising shirts etc. If it wasn't a school violation, maybe she should have just minded her own business.
 
That's awful. I mean, I guess it is nice if they are trying to help out, but totally the wrong way to go about it and embarrass everyone in the process. Ugh. It is ridiculous to assume something because of torn knees at the end of the school year. Yikes. And yeah, I've paid a huge amount for jeans that are "torn" because it is the style.

So sorry you have to deal with the stupids. :(
