So I was blessed to take a little road trip with three friends to a nearby flower farm. It was really hot 37C (98.6f) but the flowers were absolutely stunning. We enjoyed a brunch in the garden and then on the way home stopped at a different place for a little something sweet - which in my case was three scoops of ice-cream.

I would love to see what your day looked like?

Saturday looked like not much of anything to be honest....fatigue hit me hard so was in bed most of the day which is why I'm now wide awake at 4.30am I'm also awake in part thanks to my lovely neighbours that are still partying, drinking alcohol and playing music....complaining to the local noise control is a waste of time with these particular neighbours and we've put up with it for years so just deal with it. Luckily I wasn't needing to do too much very early today but later on I have a job application to do and prep for appointments I have next week

My day is filled up with little bits of everything. I'm scrapping, I'm going to the dog park, I'm reading, I'm doing laundry, I'm sorting/purging for charity pickup, I'm grocery shopping. I'll fit in some tv binging too throughout the day.

Scrapping, dishes, and the laundry. Nothing fun other than the scrapping, which I will drag out as long as humanly possible.

Sunny and warm in southwest Florida! I’m sitting on my lanai reading the latest Outlander book, waiting for my BFF to arrive.

Seeing the date in the title listed as 1-8 made me think this post got lost in the numerous MOC threads, but I see everyone's replies are timestamped today. So I will join in. :)

It has been around 30F today; a snowstorm is approaching. After scrapping my MOC page for today, I met my friend for a walk in this shopping area near us named Central Park and we walked the entire perimeter. It was nearly 4 miles and a little less than 1.5 hours. This afternoon I began reading a book. First time reading with my first pair of reading glasses! :agree

It's been a dreary, dark day for most of the day and it's been raining. A cold front is pushing through, so we'll have mid-30's temp tonight.

Today, I managed to get my booster shot at Publix, and then Jay I went and looked at the produce. Which is apparently what you do when you're 50 years +. LOL I rarely go out shopping, and usually not into a crowded grocery store, but since I was already there, we looked around. I felt like a kid in a candy shop! Oooh! Ahhhhh! Ohhhhh!

After getting home, I've succeeded in doing absolutely not much of anything at all. I'm scrapping for a little while tonight.

Im going to have somethin good to say here, one day. ...

Well today ended up not quite as I imagined. Ended up spending over an hour this afternoon dealing with what could be a bad hard drive. Luckily the repair went ok and I'm all backed up but I've learnt my lesson and will not be getting a refurbished hard drive again - this one has only been in my laptop 6 months but of course only has a 3 month warranty. Everything is good again for now so I'm just keeping an eye on my laptop hoping it stays in one piece (its been a money pit this last 12 months but can't afford to replace it)

@Eyeore no job interview yet, am waiting to hear on one application that I did before Christmas and this one closes in about 30 mins.

I’m hoping for the best with this laptop but it is old (5 years in June) and the fact I’ve heard loud grinding on both start up and shut down more often than not doesn’t fill me with a heap of hope.

Snowing here in Northern Virginia (Tysons area). My grandson is po'd at me bc I nixed a trip to the movies with his friends. I did a load of laundry this morning, have been surfin' the net and am hoping to finish a LO I'm working on.

My neighborhood is a mix of original 1950s "starter" homes, original homes with additions, and more and more so-called "McMansions" as the lots are more valuable than the small original homes. I'm living in my parents' first home that they purchased in 1956.

@Memaw2Wm You've had more snow this season than I have! We had no accumulating snow at all in Nov/Dec. My neighbor finally got the snow poles out along my driveway New Year's weekend. And, still no snow. The snow bands from "Izzy" that are in Ohio aren't coming near me at all.

Was sunny here today and in the 30's. Could hit 40 on Wednesday. The rate we are going with snow, we'll have a blizzard in April. LOL

I'm late to the party but today looked like us sleeping in and missing in person church. Luckily we were able to watch online since covid numbers are high in our area. Hubby smoked a salmon on his smoker for us to enjoy and now, I'm commenting on my shaker box challenge and working on today's simple template while DD is reading a book and hubby is watching a game on tv.

It's Martin Luther King day on Monday, so no one has work or school, so it's a quiet sunday here.

My cousin is getting married next weekend after postponing last January. We've been having a hard time deciding whether to go given the covid numbers, but we finally decided to go since my entire household is vaccinated and boosted, we're driving, and we'll wear KN95s and KF94s when we have to be around anyone. But since we haven't gone to any events in 2+ years, first the kids and I needed to spend a ridiculous amount of time buying clothes for it. Friday night and most of Saturday were spent shopping. Today I planned out some of my MOC layouts and did some lesson planning for work. Now I finally get to start scrapping those layouts, and I hope to spend all of tomorrow like that, too. We had snow and ice today, and things will probably freeze up again. Fingers crossed we don't lose power--that would seriously interfere with my plan to get MOC layouts done!

this gif is what I feel like.... we are having a very hot day here Down Under....

Those flowers are so pretty.. and what a lovely treat!

Today is a slow kind of day for me. I fasted during the day which means no food or drinks at all from 6.14am - 7.24pm. At around 4pm, I had my Covid booster dose and have been struggling with headache since. Just took some panadols and I'm starting to feel better. Looking forward to catch up with MOC since my baby is sleeping now (hopefully she sleeps soundly!).

I'm late to the party too and I have no idea how I missed this since I was on here on and off all day on Saturday. :giggle My boys had a swim meet on Saturday that took up a good part of the day and then they both got their booster shots in the late afternoon. It was all scrapping after that for me! :agree
