To-Do's

i am a weird mix ... i use my iPhone to keep lists for shopping errands, i use my iCalendar for all appointments and activities, and if its stuff that has be done on the computer, i keep a simple binder with checklists that i created, i like the feel of real paper and pen for that and i never have to lug it around bc its only stuff that needs to be done on the computer anyway.

well normally I grab my paper work, like bills to pay, then I have a calendar with hospital appoitnemnts and make lists of things that need done and then a list with ideas of what we woulod like to do, another list we keep adding for things we need to buy, but being a horrible procastinator things not always happen so I stop looking at the list as it would depress me...
but generally is by grabbing the letters with bills and stuff that is hyper imp[ortant to get done that I get going-
I cant go out often so we make lists of what to do the day I can go out and drive...sometimes we get all done....

I just discovered I have still my Filofax from when I was working....started trying to get it ready to use...

I use Wunderlist. They have an awesome web interface and also an iPhone (and I think an Android) app.

I have to be organized..too many people going off in different directions..
We have the HUB...my kitchen/laundry room door. With a wipe board. It has one side for Grocerys, if you use the end of something WRITE it down!! Or I will not EVER EVER buy it! lol
The other side is my hubby's HONEY do list....that way I don't nag him at all. He reads it, and will ask me a few questions, and then I look it is crossed off...he doesn't erase it..so I go OOOOOOOOoooh Thankyou baby...smoochie and all that..tee hee
but.............
the main list, that I used to keep on 3x5 cards? it is now on a handwritten note on my home page of my phone...NOte 4 I love you!
My bills are on line QUICKEN, and I have them scheduled by paydays,
Scrapping is the only handwriten note on my desk....I use sticky notes and remove when the kit hits store!

oh I lie....the wedding catering....I have written instructions on my wall by the calendar....so I get the 100 pounds of meat defrosted, marinade, cooked and shredded, 30 pounds of pototos cut and boiled and mix, along with 8 cans of beans heated with seasoning BEfore the wedding day! lol

i tied 5x7 notepad for it fit on table, but i do tend to go back to my 3x5's. , when able to write. I will again, get back to way i was

At work I have 8×11 note pads that I use to take notes during meetings, though I'm trying to switch to OneNote.

I LOVE OneNote for tons of stuff. And I know it has the little check boxes for making to-do lists. But my OneNote is so full of client notes that I feel like my to-dos get lost and forgotten in there.

Yes, this is me too!! I have my outlook calendar color coded, and it looks a whole lot like a kindergartener got a hold of it with a box of markers! :giggle The calendar works perfectly for keeping me organized and on top of everyone's appointments and practices and games and so forth. But I can't seem to make the calendar work for to-do's.

So far, I've been using todoist (at Aaron's suggestion) and feel much more collected and together.
