I had a ton to do today. So I jotted it all down in my planner. I like being able to check each thing off as I complete it.

DH is the text it to me type. Text me the grocery list, text me to remind me to drop off the library books.

How about you? How do you keep track of your to do list?

i am a mixture. Today, my planner says "run, strength train, 7am meeting, Burns guy" but didn't account for the mental list (kitchen floor, freeze fruit), or the Evernote notes (schedule van and dentist).
DH is definitely a "text it to me" guy for quick errands, but prefers a physical list in his hand, with a pen, when I send him grocery shopping each time.

I've been using a planner this year for my to-do list and I really like having it front of my face. Before this year, I used Asana and my Google calendar, and did pretty well with the notifications and such . . . but there were always things I was missing. This year has been a combo of the written and Google calendar. It's still not perfect, but it's getting there!

I do keep my appointments and meetings in my phone/Google calendar, but all of my to do lists are written. I've been a list maker my whole life and I really use them to stay organized, productive and on task! Like Cheryl, I find they work better when they are written out.

Oh god don't talk to me about this today!! Because yes I made a list and I did.... NONE OF IT!
I suck at this. Doesn't mean I don't try. I even bought a weekly to do planner note pad. It's cute. I have not used it yet. Omg I need some sleep.

ETA: I did do grocery shopping today with a written list (as always). And I meal plan on a paper meal plan note pad as well. See, I can do it!

This? Doesn't do it for me. But a cute pen? Every time!!! I have to use it, especially if it's purple.

And hey, you grocery shopped with a list and menu planned! Write it on your list and cross it off.

I live and die by lists for both work and home stuff. I use the calendar part of my planner for making pretty stuff (as seen in my gallery), but I actually have a subscription for a monthly paper to-do list set of inserts for it just so I can have something that is pre-pretty that I can then scribble on. Crazy? Probably, but it makes me smile on a daily basis. :)

Every night before bed I do a brain-dump of the things I need to do the next day and write them all down. Otherwise I'll toss and turn all night thinking about them!

Love lists!! I use Cozi's online calendar since I can code events by family member. However, I print it out each Sunday so I have a printed copy on the counter. I then scribble all of over it. I add exciting things like "mop the floor" on the day I plan to do it. The kids have also gotten so they scribble on it too.

I also use Cozi's shopping list for grocery shopping. I use their online To Do list but mostly just for recurring things to do like trimming the bushes.

I also love Post-it notes and use them to write to do notes and then stick them on the computer.

I tend to jot things on a post-it or keep a lot of it mentally. I started a bullet journal, but end up using it as a prompt/idea journal. I've tried planners, but can never stick with them.

Appointments for myself and DH I stick into my work outlook calendar. I can view it from phone, laptop, iPad etc so it's especially convenient if he has an appointment that week, which he probably lost the paper for... - I can remind.
For tasks usually just have a mental list, as in I need to get these things done today.. But if I'm going to the grocery store or know I need to stop for something on my way home, I grab a sticky note and jot a list then stick it to my wallet or phone case or iPad in my purse.

I use google for all my appointments and kids schedules. For daily to do tasks I have a notepad next to my computer & then I also jot down a daily schedule for our whole family on a white board in the kitchen (this is our most detailed to do list for the day - it keeps me going). My grocery list is on my phone. My work to do list is on my computer (I try to keep that separate from tasks around the house). So, I utilize a little bit of everything.
