Hello everyone !
I'm curious to know how long it takes you to complete a page.
Do you do it all at once? Do you start several pages at the same time?

I'm curious to know how long it takes you to complete a page.
I don't have the eye on the clock but I think it takes me 30 to 45 minutes to create my page.

Do you do it all at once?
Yes, when I start a page I finish it before making an other. But sometimes I get up and move around because sitting in front of the computer for 45 minutes is difficult. The time I wrote above is the time I spend in front of the computer because, in fact, between the time I start the page and the time I finish it, there can sometimes be 1 or 2 hours.

Do you start several pages at the same time?
No never

It varies. The most time consuming part of a page creating for me is choosing the photos and product choices for the story I want to tell. That bit can take who knows how long
When I know the story and have chosen my supplies crafting a page can take between 15 mins and an hour depending on how involved it is, and whether I use a template or not. (Templates are quicker as I don't have to spend time thinking about my page creation - although choosing the template time gets added to that before I start time I mentioned earlier ....)

I'd say an hour ish cause a) I get distracted but b) too many creative options if I'm not doing a CT page

Do you do it all at once?
I am an all at once person when it comes to layouts, I always have been but I kind of wish I wasn't at least some of the time as I can have tendencies to get creatively stumped just to finish the layout.

Do you start several pages at the same time?
ADHD like tendencies and starting multiple things does not work for me....it just ends in either a disaster or a big mess so I'm a one page at a time gal.

It depends on how involved the page is and how indecisive I am. I am notorious for deciding halfway through to switch out an element and then I have to shuffle everything around. A pocket page is 20-30 minutes once I have my photos and kit picked. The time I built an entire aquarium scene in a template set was 10+ hours for 4 pages. I'd say probably around an hour for very clustery pages with a template.

I would like to but things frequently get saved to return to if my son needs something. It's why I tend to work ahead with my CT assignments; I work while I can so it's still to the designers on time. I do love when I get uninterrupted scrapping time though. (It's why I'm up super early today.)

Depends on the project. If I'm working with a bunch of photos from one occasion/event, I may batch my work: put all the photos in the templates and add journaling first, then go and make them pretty. That's what I did for my aquarium pages mentioned above. It was essential that I had everything planned out there so I could pick kits with the specific fish on each page.

Oh, gosh...that truly depends. If I have an idea already, then it comes together in an hour or two. But sometimes, I'll take 3 or 4 hours to get things right. If I'm doing a one kit page, it can be faster, but I don't tend to stick to one kit unless it's a requirement for a challenge or CT work. I will find the right flower if it kills me! I just do a File Explorer search for "flower" and they all pop up and the right color comes to me as I scroll through 1500 options.

Do you do it all at once? Do you start several pages at the same time? Sometimes I will put a page away and come back to it the next day to see if I like it or not. But I rarely have more than one page in progress. I probably NEVER have more than one page in progress, to be honest.

Way too long. 2 hours is fast for me.

Do you do it all at once?
Yes.

Do you start several pages at the same time?
No.

I think an hour would be fast for me, but generally they take over that.

Do you do it all at once?
Almost always. The only time i don't is if I started making a page on my lunch break and didn't finish it and have to come back later to complete it.

Do you start several pages at the same time?
No. Once in a great while I'll start a page and need a picture to complete it (usually from my kids), so then I'll have to wait to finish it until I get that picture, but that is really rare.

It usually takes me about 30 mins. I will mostly do one at a time, unless I feel stuck and one and then need a change of scenery to regroup and then come back to it. Occasionally I need to wait for a photo, from someone else, or need help from hubby to locate it on my computer.

I'm curious to know how long it takes you to complete a page. It depends! For me I take longer when I am using a template and I can work on it for a few hours as I am trying to fit in to the dynamic of the template. I prefer to free-style my pages and for me it is quicker then.
Do you do it all at once? If I am making a page then yes I do it all at once. On occasion, I may not like it and save where I am at and come back to it the next day, but that is rare.

Do you start several pages at the same time? I have my 2024 UK trip book that I am working on (almost done) in addition to the Lilypad pages I make so that is the only thing I am doing at the same time.

I probably average around an hour, but I've done pages in as little as 15 minutes and I've also spent a few hours on a few pages. Rarely have I ever not finished a page all at once (though I do get up for breaks) nor do I usually have more than one page going at the same time. Although, a few years I've done a calendar layout, adding something to each day on the calendar grid, so I guess in that case I had those pages going all the time alongside the regular layouts I made.
