Happy Monday!!!!

Do you have anything exciting planned this week? Do you, like me, have a million to-dos on your list? How do you accomplish the most when you aren't motivated to do everything? :giggle

We just had a truckload of compost delivered to finish the second half of our yard renovation project. We have to get that spread and cardboarded before Friday morning (shouldn't be too much of a problem) because 8 yards of mulch is coming then. It is really warm here today, so I can't get started on that. My mom, sis and nephew are coming today and we're going to lunch for my sister's b-day. I have to go to the library, the Home Depot and the grocery store and figure out a warm-weather dinner. Then tomorrow is going to be the full day of doctor stuff because my grandma is having another round of skin cancer surgery. I think I will collapse on Wednesday. :giggle I have two book reviews to do, and I just finished up my poetry editing thing (for the moment). Then I have to get some plants in the ground and do about 10 loads of laundry. What a week. This is the first full week of Kennedy not being in school, so I also need to focus on him and have him get some of his reading and math done. It makes me think of those old "Calgon, take me away" commercials. Except I don't take baths. LOL.

So what about you?? Craziness? Calm week? Ready for any celebrations or events?

Sounds like you do have a full schedule! Most weeks around here are crazy and we are always on planD a lot of the time :) Flexibility is the name of the game. I know i will not get everything done, and have learned to accept it most of the time. My house will be here after I am gone, so housework usually goes to the bottom of the list. People are nearer to the top. I need to go to the pool and move 4-5 mornings a week, so that is top priority, so that also means i can't do everything else i should. I want to spend time with the grand kids, although they are getting old enough that they do a lot of things by themselves, and with each other, rather than needing grandma time. I have some physical issues, so over the years I have had to learn to let things go. If I overdo I end up not being able to do anything, and after having to sit and watch people do things, and not be able to help, it made me slow down a bit. Of course if you ask my family, they still think I still try to do too much :) I ask myself, in 2 years will it matter (I can't make myself think about a shorter time frame for choosing) so that helps. Good luck!

The BYOC coming is my cue to make newsletters for our Children's Church and Church (which is so active). My hubs and twinks are headed to Colorado this weekend, so it is just me and the boys. easy peasy!

I'm counting down the days until my biggest vacation ever - I'm going to London with my daughter. She's a teacher and is taking her 11th grade AP English students there and needed an extra chaperone, so she asked me. In exactly 2 weeks, on July 11th, we'll be getting ready to board our plane. I'm just a bit excited!

I am staying out of the way this week as my husband finishes up power washing the deck etc (No it's not that huge but he's wisely taking it in stages as he had hand surgery.) Today a new microwave is being installed. Hello kitchen mess!

Me? I'm catching up with the last bit of designer challenges and then tagging my June supplies to be ready for July!

I cleaned up the house and caught up on some laundry today, so that the rest of the week I can focus on some things that need to get done. I need to take Chance for a sports physical one day and also hit the bank and PO. I also need to go to the store and pick up some upholstery cleaner and weed killer, and some supplies to donate for flood relief. I have a hair appt on Wednesday morning and have to get the lawn mowed at some point. I think that's about it :)

Yikes You are a busy bee! :)

I work on tuesday/wednesdays so on top of that- we have the kids' Softball & Tball on Monday & Wednesday evenings, I have a stampin up' card class on Tuesday evening, my daughter has a consult at the orthodontist on Thursday and grocery store/costco run for the 4th supplies out at the lake house on Thursday or Friday- but I'm planning on heading out to the lake as early as possible on Friday AM! :) On top of that I've been a scrapping fool since I'm a guest polly this month! :) Next month I'm guesting for another designer so I'll be busy (happily) then too!

Add in the usual laundry, house chores, and the kids being home all day= I'm always busy! ;)

The only thing different this week for us is that we get our new fridge and stove this Friday! It started with a discussion about selling our house and moving to the next town over near work/school. Well, the range must've heard because it decided to give us issues the next week when the oven stopped working. The range is 16 years old so we opted just to get a new range. Well, with the holiday sale, I also got a new fridge to replace our aging one with a leaking icemaker and broken rail on one of the shelves. After we bought & set up delivery, we told our dishwater not to kick the bucket next LOL Oh, and we decided not to sell/buy. The home values were going up for a bit but have plateaued so we'll wait.

I joined the PTA, and we have an informal meeting on Wednesday for board members. Right at the end of the year I started to do some work to set up an emailing list for our members, then I kinda dropped it, and was waiting to hear back from the service provider (turned out they DID respond to my help ticket.... I just never logged back in to see their response!). So now I'm kinda scrambling to make a little more progress on that before Wednesday night. I've been in total Summer mode, and with Miller home all the time ... I just didn't feel like doing PTA work!

Also, James wants to move some furniture next weekend, which will probably involve elimintaing one of my old shelving units. So I've been trying to re-organize and purge some stuff. I discovered the Nextdoor app/site, and it has been amazing for selling some of Miller's old toys! ebay and shipping items has just never appealed to me, but this Nextdoor option, it's local neighbors, they just come pick up the stuff, and you don't have to ship. I love it!

My husband and I just drove from Texas to Iowa to help our daughter move back home for the summer. Tomorrow I will help move her stuff into the garage ready to move to Ohio in a couple months. It was an emotional move for her; she finished her internship at a church and we attended her last service where she gave an awesome sermon about change and leaving -- but that with all our changes in our lives, God goes with us! Anyway, that church sure loved her. There will be a layout of the day soon! Then a friend called -- her mother went to heaven last week -- and she asked if I could make a poster collage of photos of her mom. I will be working on that. I love this friend and I am so happy that I know the skills to do this for her.

Wow. Everyone surely has full plates. I'm off of work this week. The plan started out that I would do a huge cleanup since we no longer have the cleaning lady, but then with the emergency trip to the vet with the cat, and her having to be put down, it all just seems overwhelming now.

I can't do too much with my arthritis, so the plan was to take it nice and slow and stretch out the jobs over the week, but now I'm behind and sorta lost my enthusiasm for getting things done. I'll just see what the day brings...

I'm still unpacking so that's this weeks main plan, need to take library books back tomorrow, going to check out some sign language classes on Thursday and apply for two jobs before the 4th.

Well... this week started off funky for me. My daughter tested positive for strep throat :( so that totally threw off my schedule. Today, I made up the run I missed yesterday, and had to remind myself it wasn't Monday when I got home.
It also shocked me to see that my business trip is in just two weeks, and suddenly I felt like I needed to do ALL THE THINGS to prepare for it. So... today, even though I am at home, I got dressed up "office fancy" to try out the heels and outfit I bought. And started my packing list.
Besides that, we had the pest guy come to spray. My work picked up, I feel like out of nowhere... I am rushing to get my creative teams caught up for the month and the challenges... priorities. Lol

I don't have any real plans this weekend. The one thing that needs to be done is out of my hands and it's driving me
crazy. I need a miracle or two to get back into school and get the classes I need for licensing. Oh well makes for an interesting week right? I keep telling myself that.
