Happy Monday!!!!
Do you have anything exciting planned this week? Do you, like me, have a million to-dos on your list? How do you accomplish the most when you aren't motivated to do everything?
We just had a truckload of compost delivered to finish the second half of our yard renovation project. We have to get that spread and cardboarded before Friday morning (shouldn't be too much of a problem) because 8 yards of mulch is coming then. It is really warm here today, so I can't get started on that. My mom, sis and nephew are coming today and we're going to lunch for my sister's b-day. I have to go to the library, the Home Depot and the grocery store and figure out a warm-weather dinner. Then tomorrow is going to be the full day of doctor stuff because my grandma is having another round of skin cancer surgery. I think I will collapse on Wednesday.
I have two book reviews to do, and I just finished up my poetry editing thing (for the moment). Then I have to get some plants in the ground and do about 10 loads of laundry. What a week. This is the first full week of Kennedy not being in school, so I also need to focus on him and have him get some of his reading and math done. It makes me think of those old "Calgon, take me away" commercials. Except I don't take baths. LOL.
So what about you?? Craziness? Calm week? Ready for any celebrations or events?

Flexibility is the name of the game. I know i will not get everything done, and have learned to accept it most of the time. My house will be here after I am gone, so housework usually goes to the bottom of the list. People are nearer to the top. I need to go to the pool and move 4-5 mornings a week, so that is top priority, so that also means i can't do everything else i should. I want to spend time with the grand kids, although they are getting old enough that they do a lot of things by themselves, and with each other, rather than needing grandma time. I have some physical issues, so over the years I have had to learn to let things go. If I overdo I end up not being able to do anything, and after having to sit and watch people do things, and not be able to help, it made me slow down a bit. Of course if you ask my family, they still think I still try to do too much
so that totally threw off my schedule. Today, I made up the run I missed yesterday, and had to remind myself it wasn't Monday when I got home.
