Keep the positive vibes coming, please. We have storm #3 coming later today and they are warning it will be the worst one. Over 75,000 homes without power in the BC lower mainland and on the island, so far. We were out last night trying to put the drain pipes back together as they were ripped off the house and scattered across the lawn. I was so nervous watching my hubs up on the tall ladder, trying to get them all hooked up again. Luckily he did. So far our power has stayed on but many around us have been out since Thurs. Fingers crossed. If you don't hear from me for a bit, you'll know why.

If it wasn't for the torrential rain, I would have loved to be out there yesterday afternoon taking photos of the gale force winds blowing everything around, but no, I didn't want to be out in the rain, getting soaked and didn't want my camera out there either. Today we have a break, as the rain is light, the wind died right down and now we wait to see what this afternoon/evening brings.

Of course, it really disappoints me that our beautiful fall colors will probably disappear over the wkend with all this wind and rain.
 
Oh, stay safe! These storms lately are crazy! Is this the leftover one that hit Oregon with a tornado?
 
oooooooooooooooh may it just be a fun storm...with no damage..I do love a good one, but not the destructive kind...
 
Yes, Courtney....its the storm along the west coast of US/Canada. I believe that the Seattle area has been hit the hardest so far but they aren't sure what tonight brings for any of us. I've got my ereader (which is backlit for light) all charged up and have some flashlights/candles ready. We have a gas fireplace that we can light if needed and a gas stove so at least can boil water for coffee/tea later although maybe a few glasses of wine might be good LOL.
 
Praying for you guys Rae! I have a lot of family in the southwest WA area so I've been in contact with all them & they are gearing up! My sister didn't have power for much of yesterday! Crazy! We're getting a bit of the wind & rain here, but nothing like the coast! Stay safe!
 
Hoping you are all safe and there is no damages! I love a good storm, like Ann... but not ones where people and homes are damaged!
 
Hoping you all stay safe out there! A gas stove and gas fire are real blessings. I know. We have both too!
 
We've had the bottom end of the weather down here in the Bay Area. Pretty windy today. Some power outages on Friday. Things are good here. No where near damage in other areas!! Stay dry tonight!!
 
The wind and rain are just starting up so my fingers are crossed that the storm shifts and our power stays on. I'm loading photos, watching tv and spending time online....for now.

Yep I agree with Ona - glad you made sure your ereader was charged! Hope the storm blows over though!
