the little things | pad patter 11.27.18

I have a lot of little things that get me through my day... but today, I'm thankful for my online library :) I can listen to books ALL THE TIME FOR FREE because of this amazing technology! Yay!

(I'm grateful for something that's not so little too... my husband. He is so dang supportive and helpful... how'd I get so lucky, y'all?!) xx
 
When I took Joy to school this morning she was skipping and jumping down the road. I asked her why she was excited this morning. She replied
"I am just happy".
"What makes you happy?" I asked.
"I just am."
 
I don't know if it gets much littler than this -- I'm thankful for my Tervis insulated stainless steel cup that keeps my water cold. LOL I bought it to use as a refillable coffee mug, but put ice water in it one day when my regular water bottle needed to be washed. I found out that it both keeps the ice frozen longer and doesn't leak when it's tipped over -- two things my "old" insulated bottle didn't do well. My only complaint is sometimes I run out of water too soon and I'm stuck with a cup of only ice until I can get my hands on a water bottle to refill it.

I agree, ice cold water is a great thing to be thankful for! I'm always trying to make sure I drink enough water and it's gotta be cold!
