Some days it's the little things that make all the difference so today, I want you to tell me about the little things you're thankful for.

Today I'm thankful for pre-cooked bacon. I heat up 4 or 5 pieces in the microwave each morning for a quick breakfast that I can eat as I'm running out the door. Otherwise, I'd probably just go without eating breakfast.

I am thankful for my PG Tips (it is a strong, British black tea). I couldn't face the day without a cup of it in the mornings.

I'm grateful for all the beautiful and wonderful things around me here in our new home. The wildlife that never ceases to amaze me. They have become such a huge part of my days. They can be so comical and so delightful as well as amazing and beautiful. And the ways of the seasons. The way the seedlings fall from the trees, the way the bees are curious and friendly...yes, they are friendly. The way the mouse catcher cats stalk around looking for something to pounce on, the way the snowflakes and rain fall, the way the colors change, the way the earth calms and that winter hush falls over everything before a snowfall. I love watching the changes outside my window here. Every single day living here has brought me great joy. I think my family groans every time I tell them about something that made my day. I hope what I am enjoying will never lose its delight for me. And that maybe my constant sharing of the things I see and feel will help others to look at things with new eyes. We humans tend to allow things to become too ordinary and everyday and we lose the delight of simple pleasures because of that. And this is probably more than you were wanting to hear. But right now it's hard for me to narrow it down to one thing. :)

oh goodness, I just turned our heat on, and am sitting with a cup of chai tea. As I clicked the button for the heat, I actually said out loud. "Oh, I am so thankful to you old furnace, that you still work."

Today my little thing I'm thankful for is Uber. I had jury duty today. 7-8 years ago I had jury duty at the same courthouse (in a not so great area) and no cab companies would come pick me up from there. I honestly thought I wasn't going to ever get home! Today I requested an Uber and had one there within just a few minutes!

I'm thankful for a few days of temps in the 60's (high) and 40's (low). It's such a wonderful and welcome change from the heat. :)

This is so beautiful. I'm one who tends to let things become ordinary and I love it when my hubby reminds me of the beauty all around. Thanks for sharing.

jury duty - yuck! Glad you got a ride home. Speaking of jury duty, I had to chuckle because it made me think of the scene in The Grinch where he throws jury duty cards and junk mail into all the whoville mail slots.... hehe!

I'm thankful for fast and reliable Internet. I knew mine was fast but I took its reliability for granted until I traveled somewhere that was missing both those things.

Oh yes, I couldn't live without fast and reliable internet! It's horrible when it's out.

--that my 4 1/2yo still loves to hug and snuggle and tell me he loves me multiple times a day
--that my parents help so much with my kids (currently picking them up from school 4x/week since DD's school's after-care is so understaffed)
--that Christmas season is here!

It wasn't too bad at all actually! I had to be there at 9:30, lunch from 12-1:30 and then at just before 2:00 they announced that they had heard from the last court of the day and that they said they didn't need jurors. I was in one of four panels not called (I think there were around 20 panels that day). I got lots of crocheting done, and I got to listen to my podcasts... not a bad day.

Love that gif from the Grinch! I have USPS informed delivery so I saw I was getting it via email before it actually got here and somehow it got lost for a day before it made it to my mailbox. I'm clear for at least a year now though... and I have my $17.50 check to show for it :giggle

Grateful for rain this week & also for stumbling across the world of digiscrapping some 13yrs ago b/c it keeps me sane & lead me here

I am thankful for a hubby that understands how important my hobby is and never questions what I spend on my hobby.

@AnneofAlamo @keepscrappin I'm another big fan of the Good Witch. I've never missed an episode.

With all the turmoil in our lives now, I'm all about the little things to keep me going, to make me smile. Lately the little things have been:
  • digital library app on my phone so I can read anywhere I go
  • watching the birds out the kitchen window
  • love my comfy recliner and soft warm afghan waiting for me every night, as I curl up to watch tv before bed
  • my granddaughter's joy as we do a few crafts together at the hospital
  • grateful for any dry weather we get at this time of the year as I'm not enjoying jogging in the rain
  • tv-show wise, just discovered today that the new season of Luther will include Alice (anyone that watches that show...are you jumping for joy too???). After fighting with Comcast this morning over their incorrect billing, I saw this notice and it perked me right up LOL)
