OMG that is so funny! And do you have Monday off for Columbus day too? We do. You should have had your camera with you to record the look on their faces - bet it was priceless!
 
As I'm not scrapping, I have tried to be away from much temptation...but it is so IMPOSSIBLE!!!!!! I am even thinking about going through the torture of learning PSE so I can scrap again!!!!
wanted to do hybrid but (story of my life) our printer refuses to print from the computer :(

I have been getting lost in the Pinterest Vortex...I started to cook again and I have a Diabetes diet board that keeps growing.... but the more I look, the hungrier I get so I try to stay away from that too LOL

How is your husband, Kiana? last I saw he was having problems with the dialysis? hope is better now!!!

Thank you for asking he's doing better with dialysis. Not as many dizzy spells or cramping so win!
Sorry about your printer but yay for a diet board!!!!

I felt similarly on Friday. Now I'm cushioning my chair with a thick hand-knitted afghan. :D
 
Have been pretty much glued to the computer for a few days now... Have totally forgotten to give the cat his meds...needs to be on a schedule, had to change vet appointment as a result! have forgotten to feed the fish in the pond outside.. and pretty much everything else that should be routine in my life... totally out of my mind... so much goodness to look at and participate in.... Planned to work in eh yard today and put up Halloween decorations, but now am sucked into reading all these challenges, which I had been ignoring.... shopping is DONE!
 
I'm whirling in the Vortex, too! AAHH! I'm ashamed to say I even peeked at the Lilypad on my tablet at church when I was supposed to be looking at the book of Joel.:blush
 
Lol! I love it! ... the DSD Vortex... that is a pretty accurate description for lots around here! :giggle
 
So far today the vortex has got me...lol. I have been on here since I got up. I finished a LO that I had started on Saturday. (at least I got something done). I'm sure I will be here most of the day :)
 
I had appointments all weekend so didn't get to ride in the vortex this year, but I'm going to see what tail ends of it I can get sucked into today!
