Anyone else get caught in the DSD vortex yet?

I literally have been in the forum, scrapping, or shopping all day. I just told my kids to take a bath and get ready for school tomorrow?!

I was on the computer so much Friday I got tired of sitting in this chair! Today I was out walking and enjoying rides at an amusement park in the morning and early afternoon though. But I'm back at the DSD partying now!

Definitely. DH is watching football all day, so I lucked out there. I told him I'd be busy all day. LOL

My mind goes numb. I'm fine before it starts, but the moment the activities begin I can't think of a thing to do, what to buy - nothing. It's almost like I'm studying for finals, or something.

Vortex is so accurate. If my dog didn't remind me to feed her and let her out I would just be sitting in my recliner with computer on my lap all day.

Hoping for it tomorrow! Today we were out at a Renaissance Faire a lot of the day, so tonight and tomorrow I get to hide away with my computer while the rest of the family watches football. My problem is that I decided to take "just a quick look" in the store before I started scrapping. Ha! Is there any such thing as a quick look through DSD new releases and your wishlist? So much for my plan to finish a few layouts before I got distracted by the sale.

LOL! These events intimidate me... so much to see and do and I get overwhelmed and usually retreat for a bit!

    This is so me, too.
I did have other things keep me away most of today, but I do tend to get overwhelmed and :hide

I was supposed to get home from work last night but my flight was late and I couldn't make it home until TODAY, almost 24 hrs after my original flight. I lost the WHOLE DAY. argh.

Also, I just told my husband "no matter what I spend, know that I saved a whole lot" lol.

I have been in the DSD Vortex for a few weeks now . . . preparing designs! And somehow though the date doesn't change, and even though I worked ahead this year, there was still so much to do at the last minute!

I gratefully took off my work hat on Friday and I've been scrapping, with the occasional business related post here and there, since then.

I haven't approached the challenges. I was just letting myself go with the flow and scrap what was calling out to me.

Also, I realized there were some layouts I didn't post. Now I feel obligated to post them before I can go any further. Ha!
