I came across this post the other day and thought I would share it....

It's easy to say "Well if I had xxxx" my photos would be so much better. It has taken me years (and thousands of dollars) to learn that this is NOT true. Check out this blog post....all the shots are with an iphone 4. No joke.

Hope it ignites the spark if a few of you are lacking it right now (I have been).

That's so awesome. I use my iPhone camera as my main camera it seems. I love her composition on these. and just the feel of them. Thanks!

That is awesome!! Those are some amazing photos too. I love her style.

Those are some pretty amazing pictures! I, too, use my iPhone 5 for mainly all of my pictures now. Just easier.

beautiful photos!! i'm not sure how people always get such perfect backgrounds for their shots! my backgrounds are always full of cluttery stuff. :shrug

I am always wishing for a nice DSLR so this should help me be happy for now LOL thanks for sharing

When photographing kids it can be difficult since they are always in the go. But if you can change the angle a but or twist the view a bit it can make a huge difference. Also. Cropping! If its too good a photo to pass then crop it I you can. :)

the best part of that P365 years ago, that I failed miserably at, was that I got in the habit of carrying my camera with me everywhere! I am from the generation of developing 24(fingers crossed) cameras. It took so much for me to take random photos, just because. I love my little point and shoot and it takes awesome pictures, cause my kids are in them! lol

Oh, yes! I so needed that inspiration. Awesome blog, Kelly, and great post from you, Christine!

Ive found that my cluttery BG stuff is part of us LOL. I just take the picture and worry about the rest later

I'm so far in the minority - I still love really amazing shots with a higher quality camera. There's no doubt these are wonderful photos, but I feel like they've been post-processed for improvement so it somewhat defeats the purpose of saying "you can take great photos with your phone."

I totally get that..I am using my "fancy" camera for all my 365 shots but there are definetly times where I can't lug that big clunky camera with my huge lens and hood around so it's nice to know that you can make some beautiful images with your phone :) VSCO Cam has been the best thing that has ever happened to my photography-phone and DSLR :)

Absolutely Kelly - and I'd much rather take a photo with my phone than miss it completely. The other thing people don't realize when they say "if I only had XYZ camera ..." is that a photo is amazing because of the photographer, and some post processing. No camera will give you the perfect shot if you don't know how to use it

Yes!!! I would pay certain photographers to take my picture with a phone or a disposable film camera because I know what they produce will be amazing. I started working with film in the fall and I will say that the photos I get off my $200 film camera are almost every bit as beautiful as the ones I get with my 2k plus Canon. I do love the look of film though so that may be why :)
