I have been wanting these chairs:

but I need 8 of them! eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek! $75 dollar each! freak out! we have an online for sale by owner site in our town, and I got 6 of them for $150! I just brought them in and they are even more perfect than the ones I wanted, because the legs are black! I am just so happy. I have my two little ones still on stools because they are destructive 100% boy! I am gonna now keep my eye out for 2 more, they don't have to match perfect cause they will go on the end eventually! I am giddy with happy!
YOu get a good buy lately that makes you pump your fist and just proud of your shopping savvy?

I love a good deal, too, but I'm not always up for the energy to find one. Though I do seem to always find them when I shop with my dad! I can't think of anything lately though. Great chairs, btw!

ohhh LOVE love lOVE it!!!!!!!!! I know the kind, we have them here but yes, expensive, that is a GREAT price!!!!!!!! love!!!!
and that feeling is great!!!!!! I know I had that when in 2008 we re decorated our living room in our own, Sarita and I....
the decorators firms we had asked for budget gave us:
1 £3000 , the other 2800 and the lowest was £2200...we did it all, looked amazing and only spent £1200 including the sofa.... and the satisfaction of looking at it and we made it!!!! :)

That is AWESOME! I like them a lot!

During our recent blizzard, my son's jacket zipper broke. (Gah - It was only a year old! Don't get me startyed on their bad customer service!) I found one just last night, similar to the style and warmth. For $32!!! Down from $165! I was so happy!

@AnneofAlamo what an awesome price for 6! I get why you want leather: easy cleanup! I made the mistake of reupholstering our dining chairs and a year later they are a mess (well, my DD's and DH's are messy lol). Next time I recover them, I think I'll use outdoor fabric: waterproof should equal easy cleaning.

This isn't a huge savings like yours, but DH saw Triscuit Minis at the store on sale for like $1.89 a box, limit 3. He bought 3 for me and went back the next day to buy 3 more. :) While the price is good, I was just so darn happy the store had them. I'm obsessed with them and our closest grocery store doesn't always carry them. He got them last week and said they were part of my Valentine's day gift lol!

@Tree City yeah unless you have cats, leather is the way to go...but for the record these are pleather...pretend leather...lol
our couches alll are leather now, I steamed cleaned enough vomit out of the previous upholstered furniture...argh!!!
the new jeans with all the bling...bad for leather couches...my daughters butts are banned from the furniture! bhahhaha...
and I love triscuits!!! love love
@jk703 whoa, great deal!!! wootie woo
@MrsPeel yes yes...the dining room table the chairs go to I got for free!! It was a beer pong table at a frat house!! bhahha...it fits all 8 of us, and I have another leaf for guests! I refinished and painted it with spray paint texture! bhahhha $30 worth of paint and clear gloss and now I have a $1000 worth of table and chairs for less than $200! buzz buzzz

I have always loved those kinds of chairs! I can't ever have them with two cats and two dogs. I've been searching for an affordable dining room table + chairs for FOREVER. I gave my set to my older daughter when she got married 9 years ago (?) and still haven't found a set I like that I can afford. Someday. Kudos to you, savvy shopper!!!

I am a bargain hunter too Anne! I say if you can get what you are looking for and you get it more than half price off go for it! Yay for you and your bargain!!

Yes this!! But for me it is my Aunt not my Dad.
I also usually need what I need because something broke and don't have time to wait for a deal or I waited until the last minute. I am also terrible about remembering coupons.
Glad you found chairs you love for a price you love too!

I love a good deal!

The last thing that I got was a Gone With The Wind music box that my sis-in-law picked up for less than $1. I was SO happy about it! LOL

I love those chairs we've been trying to find the same ones for cheaper.

Our last good deal was our TV. DH wanted a big one - like 55". I wanted a smaller one like 40" because of the price. We play a few video games and watch movies as a family and the bigger screen makes it easier for everyone to see!
On a whim we checked out the Best Buy near us. I hate shopping there overall because nothing is ever in Stock. But in the 'scratch and dent' section was a TV. A Samsung $1500 60" 4K smart HDTV marked down to $350. No idea why, except someone else bought it and returned it. We know because the stand screws were in a zip lock sandwich bag. We snatched it up, and made both of us happy. Even if it is a little big for my taste. Lol.

I'm not really a bargain shopper, but I do like less expensive stores like Ikea. I also have a separate FB page where I sell and sometimes buy the kids clothes. It's nice because I can just use the money I make selling to buy them new clothes and shoes as they outgrow. :)

this is awesome!! Good Job on finding a great deal!
My daughter posted this on my fb the other day. This is totally me! DO NOT watch if you don't want to hear a couple of swear words.

I'm a coupon/sales shopper. I would get my budget from my hubby for groceries and I would lay out the sales flyers plan my meals. And what $$ I had left was used when I wanted to have a lunch or movie with a friend. Win Win.

I am a bargain hunter. Right now I am wearing a pair of Cole Haan boots that I wanted so badly but at a $450 ticket price I knew it was not going to happen any time soon. I was good, I waited and waited until I saw them in the Nordstromrack. Then I waited some more time until they had their sale and I got it for $42.50! ;)

Right now I'm wearing a pretty cute shirt I got from Goodwill for $2. I'll be wearing it on my date tonight! And the shoes I'm wearing I picked up at Kohls for $8....both of these things I got a LONG time ago too. Woohoo for deals that last a long time.

What a great bargin! Woo hoo!

I bought a $95 LL Bean sweater at a consignment store this past Fall for $3.50. And I don't think it had even been worn. I just wanted to let out a big Woop when I was in the store, but I waited until I got into my car. heh heh.

So I've got what I think is a good deal: DH and I upgraded phones today. We each got a Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+, which were on sale for $100 each (and we thought that was a good deal since each phone was regularly like $500)... then when we actually paid, the guy said "Oh, you get a $100 gift card for each phone and you can use them ON this transaction, if you'd like to pay using the gift cards?" so we got our phones for free. Yippee!
