Thanksgiving Food

I'm hosting Thanksgiving this year for our little family. We'll have turkey, gravy, mashed potatoes, my special sweet potatoes, a vegetable, rolls, cream cheese stuffed celery, olives for DH, and cranberry sauce. My son's fiancee is bringing homemade mac & cheese. My daughter is making the pies.

I haven't nailed down a final menu yet. We usually go to a family potluck... but this year we are all sort of doing our own thing. It's my first year cooking Thanksgiving. And we will not be having a full turkey, because the people in my house don't like it that much. I'm hoping I can do a turkey breast instead, and found a crockpot recipe (or maybe it's an instant pot recipe?). Maybe also a small ham. I'm undecided.

I love Thanksgiving sides... stuffing (from a box), mashed potatoes (also probably from a box :giggle) , deviled eggs, sweet potato casserole, and green bean casserole... and rolls. Lol

All of that is waaaaay too much for my family of four. So i need to make some decisions and choose. :giggle

I don't mind Thanksgiving leftovers for like a day... but this year i know i want to try a "turkey ring" and thanksgiving sandwiches.
