TGIF! What's up the weekend?

Happy Friday everyone!

What's on the agenda for this weekend? I have all 4 of my kids home today but sadly it's because 2 of them have caught whatever plague I have had this week :thumbsdowns hopefully I can get them a bit better so we can enjoy the warm(er) weather headed our way this weekend :woot

DH is working a 17-18 hour shift today (which started at 3:30..ugh) so I'm sure he'll be sleeping a good chunk of tomorrow away. I'm hoping to get some more cleaning and purging done over the weekend. At some point we have to go get a few groceries (yaay for payday). And I hope to get a start on March's book club book this weekend.

Ugh. I don't know yet. :(

We're supposed to go to a party tonight for a friend (adult's night out!!) and then tomorrow I'm supposed to go to a home show with my sister and then we're supposed to leave for Okoboji for the rest of the weekend, stay in a hotel tomorrow night and swim with the kids and the rest of the family and then baptism Sunday for our little itty bitty nephew. Eric's sister from TX is driving home today so we should get to see them too.

BUT. I have 2 sick kidlets so I don't know if any of it is happening. Jake's been battling a high fever (104.6 last night, Advil wore off after 3 hours and it went back up that high again) and then Ella puked everywhere in her bed at 12:30 last night. So, we have to see what we want to do. I want to stay home with the 2 sickies even if they are fine today and tomorrow to avoid passing anything to Elijah but Eric really wants everyone to go.

My stepdaughter is coming in later today! I've got to work a few hours tomorrow so I'm sure DH and her will be going to breakfast together. They need some father/daughter time! Then we're heading out for an afternoon benefit for a friend of ours and then dinner. It'll be nice to have just some time with her before she leaves Sunday mid-morning.

Hope you all have an absolutely beautiful day & weekend!

Not a whole lot. Well I am skipping class today because the roads are not that great here in upstate NY with all this damn snow, they should have just cancelled classes for the day so we don't have to worry about using an absence.. This was my last one!! Grrr. Other than that, just cleaning and laundry this weekend.

Tonight my son is in a play for school. He's in first grade and is going to be a lumberjack. I can't wait! I found him the perfect red/black checked flannel shirt and bought him a black winter hat and then I spend all last week making 8 axes out of cardboard, paper mache and lots of painting.

Tomorrow we don't have anything, so I'm planning on scrapping my Christmas pictures finally and then Sunday the usual Sunday school and church and then nothing! Woo-hoo! :)

oh my gosh Karen....those axes look awesome...love the touch of glitter! How fun!

no plans here other than the usual. hoping for a date night, though!

karen - those axes are really cool!

Super low key weekend here: parent-child swim lessons at the Y and church.

I'm slowly working through my stash in ACDSee, too. Don't tell anyone, but I REALLY like organizing and tagging my schtuffs! I have to make sure I scrap in between sessions or I'd just get totally sucked in every spare minute of free time until it was done. :whistle

Not sure yet! We're just playing it by ear since the boys are off all week. At the moment they are happily playing together... :)

oh the axes are da bomb!!
our weekend depends on weather....beautiful with no winds, we will be building sheds in backyard, I have bubbles and such for kids to play with so they are out of hubs way! lol and snacks for hanging in the tree!
If it is windy with the ugly rain expected, we are going to the big city for bulk shopping at Sam's (wild people we are)!
Sunday, church scrap repeat!

well tomorrow we have decorating to do,well my husband as so ill iron while he does that and i need to go to town to get Rhys birthday present too, sunday is mother day here in the uk so the morning will be spent being spoilt by the children then im off to my sisters for dinner

This week has been hard. I'm heartbroken. I miss my dog. I expected it to be hard, but not this hard. And I haven't been chatty at all because of it.

Dh and my oldest are going winter camping with the Cub Scouts, so I'm home alone with my youngest this weekend. Our church youth group has the West Edmonton Mall Galaxyland amusement park exclusively booked from 7:30pm - 10:30pm tonight, so I'll take my youngest until he gets too tired to play.

My oldest came home for the weekend...cashing in on his belated birthday present. We told him we would upgrade his iPhone but he had to wait until March when he could renew. Hubby just took him to get it.

My mom is still here with us. She has been helping out with the kiddos since my foot surgery. We are going to run to Archiver's tonight or tomorrow and do a little shopping.

Hubby and I have to go order bedroom dressers for the boys from The Room Place. They have the bunk beds so now it's time to order the rest of the set. We are also going to look at kitchen tables...nothing fancy but to get us by for a few years. Our chairs that we have now are falling apart and we've only had them for 8 years.

Not sure how much walking around I am going to feel like doing but we do need to do some shopping.

If all goes well, I am doing absolutely nothing this weekend! I found produce dated far enough ahead to avoid my Sunday night grocery run for lunch boxes, so I'm not leaving the house til Monday, lol! We've had a crazy busy week and I am ready for a break!

Super cute Karen!!

We are gearing up for spring break here. not sure what all we will get to on the fun list.

we are planning NADA...NOTHING......my hubby and oldest DD went to Oregon for the weekend and I am home with the 3 younger ones.....it is his bday today and his parents gave him a golf thing for XMAS, so he is going golfing with his dad and 2 brothers.....I am actually really enjoying the peace and quiet and don't seem to be nearly as stressed as I thought I would be with the 3 littles at home cause they are just doing their own thing and all getting along!!!!

Now that I am back at school full time I have spent most of the weekend either reading in prep for lectures next week, printing powerpoint presentations for the lectures or reviewing stuff for my first assignment and arranging someone in the industry to interview in the next few weeks for another assignment. Tomorrow I plan on cleaning up my tip of a desk - I barely have enough room for my laptop let alone anything else and also ill keep going on my assignment as I changed the journal article I was using earlier today so have lost out on about 6 hours of prep that I had already done
