It is Friday-ish (depending on where you live). What do you have going on this weekend?

I'm taking Kennedy to his school Bingo night tonight. Then will be doing some cleaning and odds/ends. I also have to find a good pair of shoes because I'm having foot trouble and I'm going to be doing a lot of walking on Spring break, so I have to find something. Ugh.

You???

I've got a good weekend, but a little sadness next week coming my way. So, I have to enjoy it while I can!

DH is turning 40 next week, so we are going with a bunch of friends to Atlantic City for a celebration/huge date night. We are eating at Fin, a restaurant that I've been really wanting to try! It overlooks the beach/boardwalk, and I'm excited to see so many of our friends. Plus, college and some of his high school friends! Plus... ROULETTE! My favorite!

Sunday we will head back, get the kids from my parents and relax at home. I have to pack for the boys as they are heading to Florida on Friday! I don't get to go; I get to work. The boys have so many days off of school in the year, we trade off weeks to cover school vacations (Christmas is mine, Spring Break is Peter). We still get vacation/days together, but I get sad every time they drive away. It's the 4th year they've done this and I think they love the break from Mom and the Dad time. Then I'll be alone the week. It's nice to have the downtime, but I do miss them. I think I will scrap and eat junk food! :giggle

BUT... UGH.... We have a snowstorm coming in on Monday. UGH again! YUCK!

Planning now. Maybe the movies but have to check on car usage (DH drives a company truck so we only have one car). Hoping to go to a part or something Monday.
@scrapsandsass Kimberlee -- you might try those Dr Scholl (I think) insoles -- the ones where you step on a machine and it does whatever and recommends a specific insole style. Spendy (about 50) but worth it. and you can put them in most shoes.

I think this weekend is a lot of errands and getting ready for my Tupperware party next week - I've just begun to sell it so it's kind of exciting!

Hoping to finish my daughter's basketball team book. Then more Disney planning and hopefully some time to scrapbook for fun!!

My husband told me today we are going on a date night tomorrow to the fondue restaurant! He hasn't surprised me like this in a while. Before that we are going to be pricing out the cost of moving our fence up .

Soccer tomorrow. Church tomorrow night. Church again on Sunday morning. We usually go on Saturday night, but we are involved with the VIP program and it's our week to volunteer. Our shift is Sunday morning. Busy, but it should be a good one. :)

My husband is going on a planning/personal retreat weekend, so I'm home with the kiddos. I plan to do lots of cleaning, homeschool planning (we were on Spring Break this week) relaxing and scrapbooking. Then Sunday will be busy with church.

Spending some time with my sister tomorrow, and the rest of the weekend puttering around the house, cleaning, re-arranging & trying to make more/neater spaces for things.

@scrapsandsass - I've found that the Skechers with memory foam in them are pretty good on my feet, which are full of bone spurs & arthritis, you may want to check them out.

Well. It is sunny, so the weekend equals laundry, lawn mowing and weeding, giving the kids some actual outdoor time that isn't just running to and from the car, and probably not a lot of fun stuff for me. Eating at the computer is about the only break I am getting today!

We are up at open gym for cheer tonight. Tomorrow is more yard work and house work. My son comes home from college tomorrow for spring break. I think my daughter and I will go see the new divergent movie this weekend. I hope to get back in the grove of my scrap projects too.

Going to Wizard World Comic Con in Vegas tomorrow! DH has a ticket to go all weekend, but since someone has to watch the kids, I'm going with him tomorrow instead of all weekend. :D

Homework. Yay.
Oh I too recall this when I was back in school to complete my B.A. as a 'mature' student. Weekends were when I went to school for most of the day. Worth it but...

My husband is coming home from a weekend in FL with his bicycle so I'm getting the last ceiling fan cleaned here. I hate that job and wish we had a better ladder. Otherwise I just have to finalize the bits and pieces of the house projects I get done while he's gone (and the kitchen does not require 3 meals a day!)

@scrapsandsass For my main walking shoes I have a pair of Brooks ($$$) but recommend going to the best running store in your town to be examined and fitted for a pair. Each brand varies a lot more than you think. My foot doctor suggested the store for me when I had a bone spur AND a torn achilles tendon on/in one foot/leg. While I tried a couple of the salesman's suggestions, when I put my current pair on it was...Ahhhhhh. The one time I went on vacation w/o them I ended up nearly crying walking the streets of Boston and quickly got a pair of Memory Foam Skechers and a pair of the same in their sandals. Good luck testing and finding a pair that make your feet happy.

catching up with gallery and trying to get here too... after a couple of very stressing weeks... I am going around the gallery and getting a buzz of beauty and talent!!!!!!! (there is a lot going on, but is boring LOL)

The weekend is almost over, but we worked in the yard on Saturday, and hubby and I had a dinner date. Sunday morning was spent at church. After lunch I made everyone lay down for a 30 minute nap/reading time. 2 kids, plus me, fell asleep for over an hour. I NEVER take a nap. I must have been super tired! Woke up, worked in the yard just a little more (have I mentioned we built a new house last year and we have a whole lot of untamed land that needs sprucing up!), made dinner and now we are relaxing watching a movie while I catch up in the galleries and forum...and hopefully scrap my weekly double pager.
