TGIF! What's on for the weekend?

It's Saturday night here in Australia and as of 12 noon today I am now on 2 weeks vacation. I'm going to stay home and do nothing.....scrapping and reading is about all.

Plans changed. grrrrrrr It started raining here in Seattle in bucketfuls Thursday night. We woke up to water flooding into our garage and spent the whole day squeegeeing/shop-vacing the garage to keep the water from going into the basement. My husband went out and bought sandbags and a pump which helped a lot. So here I am with a sore wrist from the repetitive motion of the squeegee and a sore back from a body just not used to manual labor. There is actually a lull in the storm right now as we are supposed to get high winds this afternoon and evening. Thousands of people in our area lost power yesterday but we didn't thank goodness. On a positive note, we had a new fireplace installed this past week so if the power does go out, we should stay nice and toasty warm.
