We are planning a lowkey weekend here since I'm still recovering from surgery and pretty sore. I'll hopefully be catching up on MOC challenges (YAY!) and laundry (bleh). We might go see a movie but there isn't a lot in the theaters I want to see -- maybe The Fablemans since it won the Golden Globe for best movie drama. But, I've got to get through a day at work first . . .

What plans do you have on tap for this weekend?

MOC
Mount Washmore
A streaming Q&A for PSP
Learning how to use the new wand scanner I got so I'll know what I'm doing when I go to help my cousin sometime next week (she's updating the history of our church and some documents cannot leave the building but can be looked at for information... we will scan them then go through them at home later)

No plans at all. Will keep up with MOC, eat good food, knit some & watch Netflix.

Low key is nice! That’s my plan too.

Scrapping today, sports tomorrow, stay home Sunday.

Today I'll be out getting groceries and picking up some low carb vodka coolers for a birthday party we're going to tomorrow. I'll make some devilled eggs with bacon to bring along. Then on Sunday I'll be out for a few hours on a photo walk. I'll fit some scrapping in too.

We have had quite a stressful and emotionally drained week around my house so the husband and I have talked about a mini road trip if the weather doesn't get bad just about an hour away to a near by town for some thrift store shopping and Five Guys (our favorite burger joint). So please pray for no snow or ice storms for us please... we just need a good quality get away together to clear our heads

My weekend will include weekly food shop, catching up with my MOC, reading and sleeping. Sooooo tired this week

TJ's last weekend at home before returning to university for her 2nd term. There will be time together, and a hairdresser's appointment.

Pretty low key here too because hubby has to work for university entrance exams this weekend. He will probably be "watch guard" in the exam room lol

I only have one private class this morning (it's already Saturday here) so after that, it's scrap, design, scrap and design... and scrap again... lol Maybe a tiny little bit of vaccuming cause it's getting nasty and I should be doing some houseworking too, in between scraps lol

Have a nice weekend everyone!

The usual + MOC. I walk with a different friend each morning of the weekend and Saturday afternoons my oldest and I go to the library. They write; I read. Oh! And it's a 3 day weekend for me thanks to Dr. Martin Luther King Day. My husband and I are having a date on Monday; haven't decided what we're doing yet.

Nothing too exciting - a couple of outside the house errands that I may or may not end up doing depending on how I feel - may end up delegating the task to family (library to pick up some books and the health food/bulk food store to buy my gluten free bread mix).

Apart from that my plan is to start applying for jobs, have two due next weekend and one due the weekend after. I know I need to pace myself as each application takes 45-60 mins so the sooner I start the better. If I have some time/energy I’ll also get back to the two layouts for MOC I had started.

  • Get some MOC layouts done. I have 1 finished! And the other 12 started with photos, requirements, and notes.
  • Basketball. It's Munchkin's first travel game tomorrow. They play two the same day, so it'll be a largish time commitment.
  • Finish my talk for church on Sunday.
  • Basketball practice.
  • Get my bullet Journal set up for next week.
  • Read. I'm trying to make reading happen this year, since it was pretty sad last year.
  • Monday, Martin Luther King Jr. Day is off from school, but we have an ortho appointment, and I want to see if we can make some of the presentation downtown after it.
  • Squeeze in a date with DH? No Basketball Monday, so I'm hoping we can sneak out together.
So, long weekend and too much to do.

Christmas threw up on my dining room table and I have to clean it up. I basically gathered up all the decorations from around the house and put them in one spot. I've been waiting for a day when I feel good enough and hubby is home to pull the boxes out and then put them away.

Other than that, I'll be working on MOC layouts, designing, and will likely be cross stitching as I will have to be still for a while in between my activities.

I am scrapping this weekend with a friend, so lots of comfy clothes, eating snacks, drinking wine and catching up on some MOC challenges. :D

This is what I do too -- collect every thing in one spot and then put it all away. packing it up is more efficient that way.

Wow, busy weekend for you! How did the games go?

I wish I could delegate tasks to my family. :lol Good luck in the job applications -- I always hate that process!

That sounds like a nice balance of relaxed but still with interesting stuff to do. We had date night and decided to see Avatar which we both disliked. So at least we were in agreement. :lol

Since I'm still recovering, I've been totally letting the housework go. It's amazing how quickly the dust bunnies start rolling around. :lol
