TGIF! Weekend plans?

Oh, I haven't scrapped in real life with a group in over 5 years. That's so fun!

I walk every Saturday morning with a friend and tomorrow we're going to a state park we haven't visited together before. In the evening, my daughter has her music recital. Sunday I'll be scrapping of course. And my daughters are considering auditioning for a community theater production of "The Real Story of Red Riding Hood."

The boys and I are heading to the shore for the weekend. Boys and I will hit the nearby arcade and maybe bike or ride scooters around. DH will join us on Saturday after work - YAY, especially after the strike! The town the shore house is in is having a town wide garage sale, so we will be adding a few things and lots of games.

Plus a soccer game on Sunday afternoon. Nice and relaxing.

my birthday is Sunday and hubby is taking me to Portland to see Everclear in concert on the waterfront on Saturday for it. I'm so super excited!!! I've been a huge Everclear fan for years and I feel it's destiny since they're performing the weekend of my birthday lol
 
Today is the grandkids last day of school for the year. We have them every Friday so this will be an extra-fun day. Connor (grandson) has a ballgame this evening which we will attend. We have a happy hour date with friends tomorrow night but otherwise we are in our regular retirement schedule...the dance card is free.

My sister is coming up tomorrow to play some board games. Hoping to get in some scrapping time tomorrow morning before she gets here. Also working on purging and organizing...so much stuff in this house we don't love or need.
 
Low key weekend here. My husband and son are going to see The Cure tonight. Clara may have friends come over. Saturday night my son is having friends over for a movie night. Sunday my daughter performs at a birthday party.

A nice easy weekend after our crazy one last week!
 
I get to go to a wedding! I could (wait I was in my youthful crazy days) be a wedding crasher, I so love going to them!!!
my hubs is gonna stay with boys, so I will really enjoy the moment! I am gonna count how many cell phones are taking pics! lol
and Saturday I am gonna finish my sep, oct and Nov book!
 
We are staining our fence this weekend. Whoppee. ;) It's been rainy here, and the stain company's website says to wait 48 hours after rain before staining... and we've had rain every 1.5 to 2.5 days the past few weeks! We did one small section about 2 weeks ago, then a bit more a week later, and haven't stained in a week. Hopefully we can just get cracking tonight and get at least HALF the fence done because tomorrow (you guessed it) it's supposed to rain. :banghead So actually, our weekend won't be spent staining, just about 4 hours of today and then we're going to do as much as possible tomorrow morning before the rain (IDK when it'll come, but the stain needs 2 hours to "set" before it can get wet, so I'm hoping Saturday's forecast says no rain until, like, 10pm!)

But I've promised DH that if we get a ton done by 8pm--when it gets too dark to continue--then we shall enjoy a Moscow Mule and veg in front of reality tv until bedtime lol.

nothing really special planned here this weekend.. my older son has a baseball game tomorrow (my parents go with him) and I am staying home with the litte one who is not very well.. hubby needs some peace and quiet since he's been studying and preparing for finals so, that's it.. I am going to scrap in the evening for sure! :)
 
Oh! Have fun!!! It has been forever for me to have a scrappy day with friends!

We have nothing planned for this weekend. I do have communion prep I need to do this weekend and also make the communion bread other wise I think we will relax!
Next weekend will be a busy one. we are doing a pulled pork dinner for father's day and my birthday is also then..... so we have that to look forward too!
 
Nothing planned this weekend - yay! I might go out tomorrow but I'll see.
 
Long weekend here, youngest has woken up sick so no soccer to go to. I am heading off to Handmade markets so that should be fun. I spent the past couple of weeks knitting beanies for the homeless so am dropping those off as well.

Other than that, just recovery from a long couple of weeks, nothing else planned...
 
Hope everyone has a fabulous weekend!! I am sooo ready for some down time! School ended on Monday and baseball ended tonight, so as of tomorrow I am free as a bird. This past week has been spent at 3 ballgames and 2 funerals. My ex-father-in-law passed away from cancer, and a good friend of ours was killed by a federal fugitive from California, hiding out here in WV of all places. He had just cashed his payroll check at a local grocery store and the dude followed him in to the bathroom, hit him in the head and robbed him. He didn't recover. It's a good thing for him he's in jail, because there are a bunch of hillbillies who would love to get their hands on him.

But anyway, I haven't had a moment to spare for months, so I am ready to relax, play in my flower beds, and scrap to my little heart's content :)
