PSA: It's the last weekend to shop before Christmas!! :tree

What do you have planned for the weekend?

Today's the last day of school for my kids. DH and I are both coordinating the winter party for her class, so we will be up to our eyeballs in fake snow this morning. Tonight, Julia and I are going to a mother/daughter holiday movie night with her friends and their moms. (Who are also my friends, so it should be super FUN.) DH and I have a dinner with his co-workers on Saturday. On Sunday, I plan to ingest copious amounts of caffeine for our BIG UPGRADE here at The Lilypad. Once that's done, I am going to see Star Wars.

I hope everyone has a festive and happy weekend!!! :heartslub

I have Christmas lights on my tree and I think all of my presents....just need to wrap! I think the kids will decorate the tree once they are all here together, I feel some Mom sniffles coming from that. Sigh....

Hubby and I are having a day date Monday to see Star Wars. So essited!

I am smack in the middle of finals right now and will be finishing up and submitting my very last paper of the semester before the end of the day Saturday. Once that's done I'll be working like a mad woman to finish up the hybrid recipe books that I am making each one of my daughters (I get 3-4 calls a month from BOTH of them wanting this recipe or that recipe, thought a recipe book would make for a really great gift this year) Other than that, nothing other than ironing out a few last minute details before Christmas next week. :)

This weekend we will be baking cookies of all kinds! We like to make each family members favorite recipe - so we end up making LOADS! The issue for me is that I'm not currently eating any sugar...

The other plan is to finish wrapping presents! This is a much larger task but we are determined to not do all of our wrapping on Christmas eve! Wish us luck!

Parties at school for little kids today. Then a Staff Party tonight, Dinner with friends tomorrow night, Football banquet Sunday night. A bit of shopping and wrapping and cleaning and cooking and panicking in between :giggle

Good times.

My gorgeous step daughter turns 16 tomorrow so we will be enjoying the celebrations. Then Sunday the whole family is going to see Star Wars :) In between I will be wrapping presents and continuing getting the house ready for Christmas :)

I've got the tree and decorations up and gifts bought and wrapped! So this weekend will be spent cleaning in preparation for our family gathering on Christmas. I love the gathering of the family, but there is so much work involved for it to all be over in one day.

Laura, do you ever have a relaxing weekend??

We're going to the neighbors' house for dinner tonight. I have a nail appointment Saturday, then maybe lunch somewhere with the hubs. At some point I have to clean out my office from all the wrapping festivities. I have no idea what Sunday holds in store for me - maybe scrapping since the site will be down ...

Andrew has tickets for us to see Star Wars this afternoon! I just hope we can get Andrea up and ready, she burned herself pretty bad this morning on honey that had been in the microwave for too long and exploded when she opened it! I have her soaking her hand in milk right now, so she's comfortable for the moment, but in a lot of pain when she removes it. The boys are doing some duck hunting tomorrow, Tate is pumped! Andrea and I need to do some serious wrapping, we haven't even started yet!

My oldest has a Jr Jazz Band party after school, then a basketball practice after that. Tomorrow my youngest has a parents-vs-the-kids soccer game (we are going to be creamed!) - it should be a hoot. Sunday is church and then a family dinner at my parents' house. During the weekend we need to find time to decorate the tree (it just has lights on it so far). Plus lots of wrapping going on.

Hi! I'm new but I'm very chatty so you'll get to know me quickly. Two words: STAR WARS. Tonight! The rest of the weekend is pretty quiet. There's no church until January (priest went out of town). Hubby is packing and getting ready for a trip to Europe soon, so I will most likely be scrapping. Our daughters are grown and married and live far away, there is no Christmas prep to be done. I'm still learning my way around this site but I love it here so far! Oh, and I need to clean, but, you know. A little sweeping and a quick dusting and I think I'll call it good.

Cleaning and some cooking tonight to prepare for my SIL and her family's arrival tomorrow. We planned appetizers and will order out or go out for dinner. Kids will all play. I told her to bring singles (to play CLR) and she said she hoped she wasn't going to a strip joint! LOL! Nope, not for me... but I'm leaving her hanging wondering!

Sunday - wrapping presents and maybe scrapping.

We finish school on Wednesday. I'm looking forward to NO HOMEWORK! lol!

Welcome to The Pad! The problem with having teenaged boys is that they BOTH have separate plans to see Star Wars this weekend with friends. Without me :hissy What is wrong with them! LOL.

Always happy to see more chatty folks! :giggle

A final dinner with friends who are moving for me. We were all supposed to go, but all the kids are sick. Hopefully, we can all rest and get well over the weekend. Maybe I'll make cocoa and popcorn and drive them around town to look at Christmas lights. Christmas sickies are no fun!! :(

I can relate to the feelings of panic.

The good news is that after this evening, I won't have to monitor Kennedy 24/7 for a couple of days. Tonight Jessica and Kennedy are leaving for Oregon to go and see her dad. It will actually be weird to be alone with Tim for three days. LOL. I don't know what we'll do. We should go for a date or something, but I doubt that will happen.

I need to clean the entire house, bake cookies, wrap presents, re-decorate the tree (Thanks, Christmas... :giggle), make some soap and makeup for my little sis, and try to figure out what I'm going to get for my grandma and Tim. Ugh. I have no time for much of anything because next week is insanity with multiple trips/appointments each day until Christmas Eve.

Monday I have to make the hour drive to the butcher where we get a ham every year. It is always insane there, so the whole trip will take half the day. :giggle And then when Jessica & Kennedy get back from Oregon, we're going to see Star Wars that evening.

#crazytown

:woot:woot It's vacation time!!!!! :woot:woot

I'm just very happy about that. Time for other stuff. Happy stuff. Stuff I usually don't get around to doing.

I will be out shopping for a bit with my sisters tomorrow but the rest of the weekend will mostly be just getting my scrap on, do some reading and some puzzling (I just bought a new christmassy one) and maybe I'll even go to the gym on sunday morning? I should. But who knows if that'll happen.

yes, today is last day of school for 2015!! I am so happy about this!
Tonight, our church has a big banquet up in the mountains, pure fun and with my favorite people.
Tomorrow I am moral support for a dear friend. Her mom passed away, so I am there to wink at her and whisper things in her ear to keep her from collapsing..precious woman.
The Littles have a huge field trip/party with the Children's Church so will be gone most of day, and my hubby and son are doing the dinner (home made pizza and big salad).
I am gonna scrap and play with my bullet journal some more, and wrap presents! easy and relaxed.

just wrapping presents, cleaning house and maybe we will start baking some cookies. the problem is if i do it this weekend, they will all be gone by christmas! cookies do not last in my house. and i want to play a bit with my new Portrait and planner. the kids still have school Mon/Tues of next week and then they are on winter break.

We have our parent educator visit tomorrow. Then I suppose I'll be traipsing to walmart for my printed photos, and the post office to mail a package. That will clearly take 17 hours... i have another 3 dozen ornaments to make at some point. But other then that, I'm just scrapping my heart out between here and my other CT duties. I have awesome plans for that Party Girl M3 kit. :)
