TGIF!!! Weekend Plans?

Update: The doctor said my son has an ear infection AND the flu+cold. Joy! Going to the pharmacy shortly to pick up his medications.
 
18 miles in the morning, and that's it for the weekend other than one soccer game. Hooray!
 
Its my birthday this weekend woo hoo,dunno why im getting excited,this will be last year of 30's eek
 
Happy Birthday Karen! I turned 40 this summer so yeah, eek! LOL

This is our last weekend before school starts so I'm trying to make it relaxing. I'm going to do some freezer breakfast making (my oldest has to be to school by 6:45 :( ). The girls want to go on a picnic so we'll do that too.

Since school starts on Monday for my kids, I can no longer procrastinate the school shopping! I took my Kindergartener this morning, and I'll take my 7yo out tomorrow. We also have a neighborhood fair at the local park we are helping out with in the evening. Should be fun times!

Hopefully Sunday will just be church, family time, and relaxing.

Well, I quit my job last night so I have the whole weekend free!! YAY!!!!!

My computer crashed yesterday though, so I'm still working on downloading restores from backblaze. I still have a lot of work to do on it before I can actually scrap.
 
That is BIG news! I thought you loved Brighton?! I hope this is a good change for you.

As for me..I'm hoping to have a lovely productive weekend of crafty goodness and some writing. We are now in that phase of the year where the weekends are like recovery periods for the busy busy busy of week that has passed, lol! So I'm also looking forward to soaking up some good family time.

ummm...what weekend? LOL :D The kiddos have a swim meet for BOTH Saturday AND Sunday. Sigh. There goes the weekend.
 
This is a very positive change for me. My heart just isn't in it...It really was time. I was going to stick it out till the end of the year so as to not leave my manager in a bind, but I was going need a lot of time off in October anyway, so I thought I'd do it when I got back from Seattle. I found out she was going to another store Sept. 1st, so I decided it was time. I do love Brighton. It's been a great experience...a lot of fun and a lot of hard work, but I need to get out of retail.

I went and did some shopping today in the mall and already had another store ask me to come be a key holder. LOL! I'm really NOT wanting to do anything this year. I want to have a holiday season with my family, maybe fly up and decorate my mom's room in the nursing home for Christmas, etc...

I had the best nights sleep last night and I just feel like a huge weight has been lifted off of me.

We have a busy weekend and we're all wiped out from the first week of school. Sat - birthday party for my niece and then we're going to a Gator Club (Alumni Association) bar hop with friends. Sun - work on a project for work, family party at my parent's house which will take up the whole day. Then home to get everyone ready for school on Monday (if there is school on Monday here). Hoping Isaac stays far away from Tampa!!!
 
Well, since I've been running like mad all day every day this week, I'm kind of looking forward to going absolutely nowhere Saturday. Church on Sunday is all that's planned so I'm looking forward to just spending time together.

And scrapping, of course. ;)
 
It will be a busy weekend in our house. My oldest daughter turns 9 next week, so kids party AND family party both on Sunday. That means I spend most of today cleaning and shopping and cooking and generally going nuts...

At least I got to scrapbook this morning as I was up WAY before anyone else! :)
 
I'm happy (?) to report that I survived the 18 mile run. Sorta. I ran 17 and walked one because it was hot and my knee was being weird. I'm still counting it as 18.

Now, 2 soccer games.

Tomorrow, I may not even get out of bed. :rofl
