A couple of days ago, I had a really good day. It started with some good news that I never thought would come, then followed by a huge breakthrough on a project I've been working on for about a year at work and THEN I found out we may be getting a Chick-Fil-A in my small town area. :giggle After all that our good friends randomly asked us to go out to dinner for fun on a whim. It just seemed like a day full of good news and I reveled in it. SO tell me something good (no matter how small) that has happened to you recently.

Also... great news for me... my son came home from college yesterday for three weeks. It's so good to have him home. :D

I have ALL 4 of my kiddos in town TOGETHER For the first time in over a year this weekend! so it will be nice to see them all! and we are having Alex's gender revel party as well so I can find out what little shrimp is finally! which is really darn right exciting

Here not big plans, just scrap, watch some holiday movies, bake some cookies and eat popcorn, and can sounds pretty boring, but actually it's quite good ;)

Enjoy your time with your son Karen!

I found a gift I needed at Target today even though it said it wasn’t available in store! Yay!

My weight continues to go down. I surpassed my first goal which is fabulous for me! I have a bad hip and the extra weight was not good for it at all... so 52 down so far and my hip is doing better! I haven't set my next goal... maybe just wing it for now...

My husband had a hundred dollar prescription and on a whim used his phone to see what Single Care would offer as a discount, and with NO JOINING, No Password, no commitment or fees, nothing, he showed the checkout lady his phone with the coupon on it and she took off $54.00 from the total. Just because some lady on a TV commercial he saw said to try it.

My mum's christmas weekend leave was approved over the weekend after a bit of a delay so she has from the 22nd to the 26th off work. She normally has Friday, Sunday & Tuesday off and her work is closed on Monday so she only needed to get one day off work to get a decent stretch of time off

Yay for the others who get to have their college kids back home too! @Angela Toucan @3BluEyedBabies

And for ALL the kids in one house together.. That's awesome @dotcomkari

@G.J. your plans of holiday movies and snacks sounds awesome! I hope you enjoyed it all!

@umyesh that is so awesome to find what you needed at Target even though they said they didn't have it. It sure beats having to run all around looking for something! So hurray!

@estir_bune huge congratulations on your weight loss goals! That's so awesome and is no small feat!

@Scrapping with Liz congratulations to your daughter! What a fabulous achievement! And enjoy those two weeks off of home schooling! I'm sure you all will!

@Lime I've seen those commercials too. That's so great that it worked for your husband's prescription. $54 off is an awesome coupon!

@littlekiwi that's so great for you Mom's Christmas leave. I always love having a few extra days off in a row at Christmas time to just stay in my jammies and not leave the house! :) Enjoy!

@Cath_ Happy anniversary! :)

Isn't it the best!?!? :D (except for the poor grocery bill in my house! :giggle )

Agreed! I gulped! lol! He's such a walking stomach too! My youngest is packing it away too - though he is getting taller, but very slender, I'm now like can you have one more roll? lol

My son graduated from college last week, we got to surprise him with my brother, sister-in-law and nephew getting to attend my son's graduation and he was excited to see them. We also got to do our extended family Christmas this weekend with almost everyone (my parents, my bro/sis-in-law/nephew, me, my husband and all 3 kids) except my son's girlfriend who had a last-minute issue come up- we missed her but we enjoyed having everyone else together. Then on Friday, Saturday and Sunday I did a bunch of baking/treat-making and got all my neighbor's gifts handed out on Sunday afternoon. Then, middle of the night Sunday night I got sick (no fun!) and was down all day yesterday with a bad cold. I lost 3.5 pounds from Monday morning to Tuesday morning as I had no appetite at all. I am not happy with how the weight came off, but happy that it did!

@KayTeaPea Hooray for fun graduation celebrations and surprises! That's a total bummer that you got sick though. I hop you're feeling better now.

My daughter, sil and our 3 yr old granddaughter will be staying with us Christmas Eve and Christmas Day nights. It will be so wonderful to have them all here!! They live in town but it will be nice for them to just relax for a couple of days and so much fun to have a little one in the house Christmas morning!
