I know my MOC challenges tend to be on the more difficult side, but hopefully everyone learns something new =) MOC can be a bit hectic with one LO per day, so I thought it would be nice to revisit the sketch technique now that things have calmed down. I'm also curious to hear what techniques you love and what more you'd like to learn about. AND....please feel free to ask questions or share stories with regards to the technique challenges. I love hearing your feedback.

Here are some helpful links:

Alternate PS method 2
Alternate PS method 3
PSE - Pretty much the same as PS, with minor differences

GIMP
OTHER - Here is a great online resource that will turn your photo into a sketch (among other techniques)

I'll add a new example here in a bit

SLOW SCRAP INSTRUCTIONS
For today's scrap, I'd like you to create a layout using the Sketch technique. Please feel free to use any method you'd like. YEP - that's the only requirement on your layout, but of course, as always....please participate in the discussion and make a LO you love!

This is a slow scrap so you have 24 hours to complete your LO. You must have your page posted here by: 1pm EDT- Thursday, February 23, 2017 to qualify! Please remember that your layout must comply with our gallery rule of 50% TLP products. I will be PMing the eligible scrappers their participation prize from this thread. I can't wait to see what you all come up with!

I really enjoyed our chat and a big THANK YOU to the participants and all the great ideas for future technique scraps! <3

Sorry I missed this, I mixed up the time. I'll try to scrap when I get home.

Oh I love that we are revisiting this! Sorry I missed the chat itself, but can't wait to scrap a sketch again!

Eek! I forgot - but I still have time to play! I was making a challenge layout...

I really wanted more color so while I used tutorial 2 I added another copy of the background layer on top, Luminosity at 34%. Just enough.

oooh did I miss a chat? :(
will look into this scrap now! Loved the sketch challenge for MOC!

I loved using your tutorial again. I love how it turns out. Thanks so much for the inspiration!

I had so much fun! I must admit... at the second photo I made an action to make a sketch faster! Love it and will use it again and again!
I used the first method and added the background layer again between the second (start counting at the bottom) and third, lowered opacity and it gives it a bit more the effect of one of the newer comic-albums with brighter colors I think. :D

I got a little bit carried away with extracting the image, but it was fun. Thanks for hosting, Farrah!
