Technique Chat | Sept 18 @ 9:30pm EDT/6:30pm PDT

O My Goodness! That was so great! Thank you so much for that lesson! I created my page using Sabrina Dupree's 'Autumn Wishes' solid paper #7, and Bella Gypsy's 'Cozy & Crisp' leaf pattern paper.

I had to use another method because of my software but I loved learning something new! I used Kim's blue and purple polka dot paper and her yellow solid paper from Fantabulous Fall. Thanks Jess! I love seeing everyone else's pages too!

Here are a couple I did on white paper. I think I probably need to darken the starting paper first. For the sunburst one, I played with the scale. By lowering it to less than 100% I got it to repeat the pattern. I thought it looked kind of cool. The sunburst came Etc's Brighter Days kit. The stars came from That's Good by Emily Merritt

I missed the chat but still wanted to try your technique. Here I used another LO as my texture, like a brand on the wood. I love how it turned out.

So I guess everyone so far who has done this has been using PSE?
I used PSCC and there was no Texture item in my Filter menu. :(
But I googled and this article https://www.gavtrain.com/?p=3176 says they took some of the filters away and you have to turn on a check box in Preferences. Whew!
Now Texture is showing up.

I wonder why they'd take it away. Weird.

Michele, texturizer is included in the filtergallery in PSCC! But there you can't load other textures!:overreact

So, when you go to preferences>Plug-ins>filter&extension panels, turn on the checkbox and restart PSCC, like you said, then go via filters>texture>texturizer, you end up in the filter gallery again but now there is an extra button to load textures... :happydance
I wonder why Adobe does not put that extra button there in the first place :hummm
(sorry, I love playing with the smilies :giggle)
