Day 21 - Clean & Simple

Too much fun! I love templates - so versatile. I kept this clean and simple but added my own touch.

I just love this pic of Shelby and I last August....most of the time when we were together, she and I will take a 'selfie'... and she always does this in the car of course when I have my sunglasses on...lol.

Day 22 - Paper to Digital
I love this challenge. I got up early today and glad I did....been working on this non stop. I chose to be very ambitious and push myself. I chose this HYBRID layout - I loved the string/clothespins/pocket tags.



I decided to dedicate this page to Shelby as this was her first week at her new full time job - I used a photo from last year but I just love this carefree photo.

Day 23 - Mood Board Inspiration

I really liked the black/white/pink in the word art at the top plus I loved the mood board design...so I did that. I made my own mood board template and did the blacks/white/pink.

Day 24 - Art Journaling

Well I don't really do a lot of AJ...so I took a stab at this. This is kind of a homage to shelby and her positive outlook (she had a really bad relationship that ended in 10/2013 but the mental games this guy played on her and stuff are finally gone) and it's HER TURN TO SHINE an and BE HAPPY and that she can WITHOUT HIM. She has a NEW FT job now, awesome BF and will be moving to a new apt in the spring that is 10 times better where she is now....so BIG changes this year but GOOD.

Day 26 - Storytelling with a questionnaire

Well you will soon know that I am weird and quirky. My hubby and I love quirky unique animals (hedgehogs, anteaters etc). However the SLOTH holds a dear and special place for my hubby. He was BEYOND delighted and captivated when we were at the Dallas Aquarium last October to discover they had sloths. Not just behind glass or cage but TWO out with no barrier. I think we spent a few hours just watching them...hubby was close enough to touch (not allowed though). SO when we left via the giftshop he immediately got giddy over a stuffed sloth that was perfect. He had to get it. Meet Sly (Sylvester) the traveling Sloth. I took these photos in our hotel room in Dallas. He just looked too adorable sitting in our carryon bag and posing on the suitcase.

We plan on taking him with us on our trip this summer and take pics of him all over...(like the travelocity gnome)....again, we are weird.

Day 27 - Sketch Challenge

Here is mine.....I liked the photos on the diagonal....large title...I chose to do another #sockselfie with another pair of fun socks. I did a b/w version and a poster edges plus the original.

Day 31 - Pocket Page Challenge

WOW...what a challenge. I knew I wanted to do one of two things. However my first plan I couldn\'t find my 3rd photo ( I wanted to use a graduation pic of each of my kids with their siblings - however seem to be missing my 2nd son\'s). So then a lightbulb went off. I chose to do their baby picture with a corresponding adult picture. I should add that these are my beautiful kids.
