Ok, so who watched it? What did you think? Did you like the halftime show? Did you pick a team to win? Did I miss any good commercials?

We went to a friends house to watch the game and made wings for dinner to eat together too. Food was good, company was good, but the game was so boring! :giggle We watched to the end of the 3rd quarter and decided to head home because my friend is usually in bed by then (around 9:30). As soon as we got up to head to the kitchen to clean up, Seattle scored a touchdown. Lol. And then all the excitement happened after that. Geez! I kind of wanted the kicker to end the game having the only points, because I thought that would be cool.

I can't really say I loved any of the commercials much. The Minions one made me giggle, but otherwise they were just normal commercials. The one with Jennifer Aniston and Tom Brady in the Dunkin commercial seemed overly "try-hard" to me. Lol.

Halftime show was good. I didn't know his music, but it looked fun and I loved the dancing. I said at one point that I'd love to hang out in their faux neighbor and learn to dance from them!

I agree, the beginning of the game was pretty boring. The defence was just too good to beat. And I loved the half time show. I didn't know his music either. It was more like watching a music video than a stage performance, really well done! (We were secretly hoping the kicker would get MVP since he scored most of the points and my youngest is a kicker too.)

I had it on, not really watching. But my youngest texted and asked me if I had any ideas for food after I said I'd just gone out with my roommates. I said, "I thought you're supposed to have wings or pizza during the Super Bowl" and the reply was, "Well, Bradley Cooper told me that's propaganda" referring to the Uber Eats commercials. They've been around a while, but they were pretty good during the game. I was amused by the Liquid Death energy drink commercial about exploding heads. The scene with the patients in the waiting room with no heads but bandages around the neck cracked me up for some reason.

I was rooting for the Seahawks...cuz PNW, but I wasn't super invested, but like you, thought it would be funny if the kicker was the only one who'd scored. Sort of wish it had been a blow out, but whatever!

I was hoping he'd get the MVP too and kept saying that he should! We know a couple of our friend's sons who are/were kickers in college too. :agree

Ok, I forgot about that commercial. I did love that one and thought it was so funny! Funny your son said that! Ha ha!

Here in Canada, they replace the American commercials with Canadian ones so we miss out on all those great commercials. We have to find them on YouTube to see them.

Although I am a HUGE fan of football, I didn't watch this year, I did check the score often. I had to laugh, as I was scrolling "X", the fastfood Wendy's was trolling all the commercials. It was hilarious!

Oh my gosh! That's so funny and brilliant! You know everyone's going to be looking up the commercials the next day and that gets your logo on all their ads for free! :giggle

My favorite thing about the Super Bowl was that neither Tom Brady or Patrick Mahomes were in it. :D I'm a little sick of those two. I was rooting for Seattle so I was happy about the result although the game was a bit of a snooze fest!

I was also a little underwhelmed by the ads. I guess my favorites were the Hellmans Neil Diamond one and the Xfinity Jurassic Park one. In general, the ads were maybe a little too reliant on just having celebrities act ridiculous?

I don't really know what if Super Bowl. I know it's a big event in America.

Since Friday, I'm watching Winter Olympic Games. And since, it's in Italy, there's no time difference, so I can watch it during the day.

I've only watched the Super Bowl twice in the last 12 years... several years ago when Joe Burrow and the Bengals were in it and this year.

I've been a Seahawk fan almost from their beginning so it was a good night for me! My dog hid in another room because she didn't like my yelling every time the Seahawk defense sacked the Patriot QB or got an interception. In my opinion, the MVP of the game was the Seattle defense. I'm also a big Ohio State fan and I was extremely happy when Seattle drafted Jaxon Smith-Njibga several years ago and now he has a Super Bowl ring. I was a little disappointed he didn't have a breakout game (since he was the NFL Offensive Player of the Year) but the Patriots had him covered. Which left several others able to shine.

As for commercials, didn't watch many of them. The only one I wanted to see I had seen last week on YouTube (Budweiser of course). And, I changed channels during the halftime. Switched to a news channel to see if there was anything new about the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie.

I forgot to add that I thought Bad Bunny did a great job. I don't know much of his music but I enjoyed the show. There's a few of his songs I'm going to add to my playlist to get to know better.

Hubby made me turn off my Major Crimes so he could watch the Super Bowl. About 30 minutes in he handed me the remote and said, "this game is boring, let's watch your show". :giggle We ended up bingeing Major Crimes all night and he just checked into the game on his phone. I saw a few commercials but nothing special... and we missed the halftime show too.

Most years I'm only in it for the food and the halftime show (unless the Eagles are playing). Somehow we started a tradition years ago that I make chicken taquitos and we have a bunch of other snacks too so it's always good eating! And I LOVE concerts, live music etc. so I loved seeing Brandi, Green Day, Charlie, and of course Bad Bunny with Ricky Martin & Lady Gaga! Every year I love to see the sets, the references, which songs they choose, guest performers, etc. I thought it was a great halftime show! The game was boring, but as an Eagles fan I hate to see the Patriots win so I was happy with the outcome, LOL. The commercials were ok... lately it seems like, what random group of celebrities can we gather for this ad? My favorite was the short promo for the upcoming Mandolorian and Grogu star wars movie.

We started watching it when we realized we never canceled our peacock subscription lol I grew up having Super Bowl birthday parties but I don’t usually watch it now. We were bored so we watched it this year. I’m sad I missed Green Day. I don’t really listen to Bad Bunny but I thought the halftime show was okay. I’m disappointed I didn’t win any money from my sister’s Super Bowl squares but I never do so I should probably stop losing that money lol

I didn’t actually watch the game (I really don’t understand anything at all about it lol). But I did watch the halftime show… and wow. Bad Bunny honestly made me cry, I cried the entire half time show LOL.

As a Latina girl from Brazil watching his performance just felt so emotional and familiar.... I really love his music, and even the cover of his latest Grammy winning album feels like I’m looking at a picture of home. The whole show was beautiful, and so many little details just felt really close to my heart.

I loved every part, but my favourite moment was when I saw the little child sleeping across the three chairs. Oh my gosh, It immediately took me back to my childhood, going to parties with my mum and dad and doing the exact same thing :giggle. That moment just hit me right in the heart and brought back the warmest memories.

So yeah… I didn’t really watch the game nor the commercials (they are not the same over here), but the halftime show meant a lot to me. :love

I had to work. I even went in early so I would be at home by 6:30. Well everything went to hell and I had to stay over after the pharmacy closed and didn't get home until right before halftime. I didn't know any songs by Bad Bunny, but I really loved his performance. Even tho hubby is out of town and I was by myself, I shouted Is that Ricky Martin at the screen.

I was so confused to by the crypto commerical with the Back Street Boys. At first I thought it was kareoke or maybe because it was streaming a place holder for a local commercial? Why are these lyrics on the screen? Then I was so disappointed with BSB for being sellouts for a crypto commerical, lol.

I had to find the Green Day performance on X. So I was happy I could watch that. I did "win" a pepsi, free chipotle, and a free coffee from Dunkin from all the giveaways online. I missed out on the Lays one because the servers were too busy.

I turned the game off after halftime.
