Sunday Supper | Pad patter 1.9

I've really lost all interest in cooking lately...too many years of it lol. I always try to have leftovers as well!
I need to learn to do more in my air fryer. I haven't tried potatoes yet.
@IntenseMagic I steam small potatoes until just done, not too soft and then stick them in the fridge for the week. I then take out what I want to air fry, cut them in half, toss them with spices and a bit of oil and airfry for 10 minutes. Or I buy the big bag of frozen cubed potatoes or french fries from Walmart and they don't need to be pre-cooked. They get crispier on the outside but softer on the inside than if I baked them.

Every Sunday, we pick up my FIL for Noon Mass, and then we either order Costco Pizza, I make a lunch/dinner, or we go out to eat. We then spend the rest of the day and evening Family Game night, then end with a dessert. We play Farkle, 31, Pokeno, Phase 10 or some other favorite game. My SIL comes 90% of the time, but she's mostly there late every time so we never really count on her being there.

Tonight I made a Pot Roast in the dutch oven and we ate every drop!

Today we had some friends from church around for a braai (BBQ) we did a variety of meat: chicken kebabs, sausage and steak and served that with a salad groaning with roasted pumpkin, tomatoes and feta, garlic bread and a very thinly sliced potato bake, (Jamie Oliver's potato dauphine)

Do you do a Sunday Supper at your house? For lunch we usually do leftovers. We are rushing home from church and everyone is hungry. I usually plan meals so we have enough leftovers. On Sunday night we have a young adult Bible Study here and we cook for them. Sometimes I cook sometimes my older girls cook. We made potato soup last night.
Do you have any tradition Sunday meals? Nothing really traditional other than leftovers for lunch.
Do you eat with other family members? Any upper high school or college students that want to hang out! We'll have anywhere from 5-12 extra kids.
