Summer TV

Courtney, I have several scrapping shows that I like to 'listen' to as well :)
Which ones? I listen to paperclipping roundtable, but I miss the Digi Show (the new one I don't care for).

(sorry for the slight thread hijack!)

Oh man...it looks like I've been missing out!!
I have a question about Netflix...worth it, or not?!?

I have Netflix and I think it's worth it. So inexpensive at just $8 a month and you have TONS of choices, there's even a Kids with LOTS of great choices for them.

Kathryn - I was just going to ask if I was the only one who watched BB. I can't wait for the new season to start.

I can't wait either, just a few more days! :)

We use netflix mostly for the kids. Most of the time we suspend it for school year, deactivate it during December and March for the holiday breaks and them again in the summer.

In terms of podcasts, paperclipping round table, Katrina Kennedy's Capture Your 365, Daily Digi Digest.

Non-scrapping podcasts: Hapoy Hour with Jamie Ivey, the Art of Simple, Popcast.

I was actually referring to your post about shows that you 'watch' or actually listen to while scrapping. I like to have the TV on while I am scrapping and then I 'kinda' keep up with them, but often miss a lot of stuff. If I really like a show, then I have to stop scrapping so I can actually pay attention.

As for podcasts, I really loved the Digi Show, but other than that, I don't really listen to podcasts except when I am cleaning or driving.

I saw your first post , anything else you 'watch' while scrapping? I'm always in need of mindless TV. It blocks out the other people in my house

I like NCIS and NCIS:LA, Bones, and a lot of the ones you mentioned. I can keep half an eye on the plot and complete some scrapbook pages at the same time!

I loved 'house' for that reason. It's always a similar plot and super easy to just catch a few bits and get the story. I'll have to check out NCIS

I agree, some shows are great for scrapping b/c you don't have to pay complete attention to it. The past few months I enjoyed watching The 100, Salem, Black Box and The Bachelorette for just that reason. I could listen and just glance over at my laptop now and then at the show while I scrapped on my pc.

I also like The Voice and (past tense) liked The X-Factor for scrapping. The shows that are a huge time commitment are hard for me to commit to unless I can multi task.

We love Big Brother for summer tv. Duck Dynasty. My husband just started watching Big Smo. It might be ok.
I watch Mistresses with Alyssa Milano.

Does anyone watch Big Brother?

errrmmm NOPE
I find it horrid
people rejoicing on the misery of others...because it is what it is...

LOVE NEtflix- I'm in need of catching up as I started watching Orange is the New Black but then my meds stopped working and it was complicated...

Have you guys not have Penny Dreadful?

It started 3 or 4 weeks ago here and is amazing!!!!!!!

I love the show Derek as well on Netflix. It's so sweet & sad. I love Ricky Gervais in such a sweet role.
