I enjoyed a nice day of watching some Football yesterday! Over the last 5 years, I have started watching more with my DH, as well as my kids and parents. I used to just watch randomly and not get into it, but then one year I played Fantasy Football with some friends, and our kids. I had so much fun, learned more about players and teams.... and it got me hooked! Though, I haven't played Fantasy in a couple years. Now, we make bets or join pools.

When my kids were little they picked up soccer and played that for a number of years. So, if a good soccer game is on, I'll watch that too! Baseball can be slow, but I will watch the NY teams if they are on. I also like watching the Olympics when they are on. Both of my boys like to play golf too! Neither played for school. They participated in javelin, which I enjoy watching too!

I'm way better at watching sports than playing them, lol! I would hurt myself.

What do you watch?
Did you learn more about a a sport from your kids? or family?
Do you play any sports?
Does anyone in your family play a sport?

What do you watch? I'm a football fan, especially college football.
Did you learn more about a a sport from your kids? or family? My father was a big football fan and if he lived in a different time, I could have seen him as a referee.
Do you play any sports? Nope, not any more. I was in a bowling league as a child for a couple of years. Then picked it up again in my 20's and bowled in leagues for about 15 years.
Does anyone in your family play a sport? My 2 cousins that are brothers (and like brothers to me) both played college football. The older one also played during a NFL strike in 1974 for the Detroit Lions. The other one has 2 sons that also played college football for a NCAA Div III school. The older son is a football analyst of Miami of Ohio football. The younger son is now an Associate Athletic Director for the school he played for. Football is in the blood in our family!

What do you watch?
Volleyball, basketball, soccer, softball, football and cheer.

Did you learn more about a sport from your kids? or family?
I learned more about soccer from my kids.

Do you play any sports?
I played volleyball, basketball and softball in high school.

Does anyone in your family play a sport?
My oldest plays volleyball, basketball and softball now. My middle plays soccer and does cheer. I play slow pitch softball with family and/or friends.

What do you watch?
Football, baseball, and basketball mostly. But I love to watch all different kinds when I get a chance.

My dad was a sports fan, and my mom loves basketball, so I grew up watching sports...and being embarrassed to bring friends home when WVU was playing anything because my parents were always jumping around and cussing lol

Do you play any sports?
Not currently, but I played volleyball in Jr. High and softball as an adult for a year.

All of my kids played for many years. Both of my sons played football, baseball, and basketball. My daughter played basketball, softball, and soccer. The youngest also threw shot put for the high school track team. Sometimes several of those things were going on at the same time lol.

Also, my first cousin's daughter (Sammy Sullivan) was on the Women's Olympic Rugby Team this past summer. So proud of her!

What do you watch? Not much of anything. LOL
Did you learn more about a a sport from your kids? or family? Archery. My son loves recurve archery. I've learned soooo much...not sure I wanted to, but I did. LOL. Growing up, my family were HUGE football fans and so I know how football works, I just think I got too much of it as a kid and so I don't watch it anymore.
Do you play any sports? Occasionally I'll play pickleball, tennis, ultimate frisbee and most recently a new game that I learned called kill ball. I only play these games if friends talk me into it. LOL!
Does anyone in your family play a sport? Just my son, who shoots archery.

What do you watch? I'd never choose to put sports on, but will watch with my hubby if that's what he's watching. Usually I'll get a craft project to work on while "watching". Usually he's watching football and baseball. My dad used to watch a bunch of indy car races and sometimes Nascar. We went to several small track races when I was younger and I thought that was pretty fun. Not as much fun to watch that on TV.

Did you learn more about a a sport from your kids? or family? Mostly I've just watched and learned from listening.

Do you play any sports? I ran track in high school, but I am NOT coordinated enough for anything else.

Does anyone in your family play a sport? My hubby played baseball and basketball in high school. Both of my boys played soccer and then were on the swim team in high school. My youngest also played tennis for a couple year in high school. (I cannot keep up with that sport! Lol!)

What do you watch? None, not a college or professional sports fan. Loved watching my kids and grandkids play in local leagues.
Did you learn more about a a sport from your kids? or family? Yes ... soccer and lacrosse. They weren't popular when I was a kid. Although thinking back we did learn a bit about lacrosse in senior girls gym (1971) ... all I remember is tossing the ball back and forth.
Do you play any sports? No, I took ballet and ice skating lessons.
Does anyone in your family play a sport? Currently no. Grandson do play pickup basketball, soccer and lax occasionally.

What do you watch?
Basketball mostly but a little bit of rugby too - in fact, I'll be spending two hours tonight watching basketball on TV

Do you play any sports?
Not anymore. I haven't done since high school - I did Petanque, Ten Pin Bowling & Curling

Does anyone in your family play a sport?
Not anymore. My mum did Curling for several years and every so often participated in the annual social softball tournament between expat Canadian's & American's.
